Crockett County defeated Obion 59 to 38 at Obion. Earnest Williams had 16 points, 9 assists, and 5 steals for the game. Their post player Joey gooch had 15 points and 12 rebounds.

Earnest williams is a great all a round athlete. He is deceiving with his quickness and is also a great defender in the secondary.

The cavaliers should finish 10 and 0. But the real test will come in the playoffs. They have only played one team with a winning record and that team looked average at best. I was at the game. It was a very good game between two great guards. Jason Black had 17 points for Westview. Earnest Williams had 26 points for Crockett County and made some of the most amazing passes I have ever seen in high school basketball. I noticed that Crockett has no seniors on the team as they were playing 4 juniors and 4 sophomores.

I watched him play against Halls Sat. night and he had 31 points against Halls in a losing cause. The dewalt kid from Halls had 25. It was an exciting game to watch.

Jimmy ware was kicked off obion's team before the season startd. I talked to a fan from Crockett Co. and they said Earnest is only playing about half a game in the two games they have played, he is not starting due to recovering from a football injury, and is averaging 17 points a game.

who will be the teams to beat? Gibson co. and westview should be very good. Obion Co. should be better. Dyer co. should be okay. Crockett Co. will be competitive and battle for third or fourth. Union City ? What does everybody else predict?

SLS, i agree that dyer co. has the edge in the district, but i believe westview and obion county will give them a run for their money. Also never count out union city they always have great atheletes. Should be an interesting year in that district.
