  1. SarahPalin, You are the reason that topics on CoachT get way off track, and some topics end up being completely pointless. I am not a Hendersonville fan, I'll just tell you I am a Franklin fan. Why don't you stop rebutting whatever they have to say about anything, and take into account that Yazzie is a good player, maybe not SEC or Big 12, but definitely a lower level D1 school, or D1AA school. Just give him some credibility, because while he was playing on Friday night, your Independence Eagles were at home, and apparently he is the main reason for HHS's success on Friday nights. Also, stop saying that Campbellsville is a quality program because Indy players have gone on to play there. It's annoying. You're annoying. Also, change your name because Sarah Palin is an idiot.
  2. Great analysis man. However, I'm going to have to agree with you on this one. MUS takes the home the good ole gold ball, because of one man....David Hernandez. The arguably the greatest receiver in the history of the state of TN football, at any level. Better than Terrell Owens, Earl Bennett, Drew Bennett, and anyone else...
  3. Don't even start on that. Maryville, and possibly MUS, I agree. But, David Lipscomb and Alcoa? Smaller classifications, much worse competition, I don't think they would belong on the field with FHS or BHS.
  4. You might want to get your facts straight before you talk next time. Alex Ford is not the only running back in the Franklin offense. The Rebels also run the ball with Keylo Lee, who has gotten almost 100 carries I believe, and sophomore Sean Dye, who has gotten a considerable amount of carrries. Alex Ford is averaging somewhere like 10 yards a touch. At least on Friday, the Commandos exclusively threw to Yazzie
  5. Oh yeah, I forgot basketball is starting up shortly, probably because the Rebel football team is still alive, unlike the Cougars. Sorry, off topic, but had to say it...
  6. What a great matchup! Anybody who has watched the Brentwood-Franklin rivalry in the past 5 or 6 years knows that it is impossible to pick a winner. Year in and year out, no matter which team is better or won the previous matchup, it seems like the game is a toss-up. Every year, both teams run it down the other's throat, and it comes down to which team makes a big pass or a big run at the end, and the game is decided within the last two minutes. I can't wait to see what happens Prediction: Boastful Brentwood-??? Feisty Franklin-???
  7. AmbiguousRock, If you knew anything at all about an education, you would know that Franklin is a better school than Centennial. Who cares if 3% didn't graduate 4 years ago (which is why FHS is on the list). The two schools in Williamson county that are in national rankings are Franklin and Brentwood, not Centennial. So when you lose in sports (like you always do) you can't say that at least your school is better, because it's not. Get your facts right
  8. Looks like Centennial is going to have to wait yet another year for a run in the playoffs, and a victory over Brentwood and Franklin. IMO Centennial has one of the the worst defenses in Region 6, alongside Dickson County and Clarksville. They can't stop the run, and they sure as heck can't stop the pass. Offensively, the Brentwood defense will shut down Chaz, just like Franklin did, by pressuring him into making bad decisions on the run. Brentwood blows the ole Cougars out of the water... Brilliant Bruins- 42 Cocky Cougars- 3
  9. After going on Hendersonville's website, I see that Nick Yazzi runs a 4.68 40 yard dash. Since he is God, I guess he can run a 4.2 whenever he needs to get away from defenders. Oh wait, he can't. Franklin's secondary has a safety that runs at least a 4.55, and will easily contain God. On the whole Franklin team, there are at least 5 players who are as fast as God. He won't be much of a factor. Period. This Franklin team is head and shoulders above the 2006 team that was upset by HHS, and will not lose on Friday night. Franklin 35 Hendersonville 21 Game over
  10. Ever been to a Region 6 game? The Rebels played at Independence, who, earlier in the year had high hopes and their crowd was incredible. Also, Franklin went into Ravenwood, a very loud environment, and won. I don't think the crowd will be a factor at all. Before you try to proclaim HHS a daunting place to visit, go to some Region 6 games buddy
  11. I agree, there shouldn't be any Brentwood-Franklin talk on this thread. The Rebels' and the Bruins' games are not "locks" whatsoever. Franklin fans just had to retaliate to an ignorant Brentwood fan(s). And, even if some Franklin fans may not be worried about this week's game, I don't think that means the players don't realize that they are playing a quality football team.
  12. Wrong. Alabama lost to Louisiana-Monroe last year, does that make ULM a better team? No, they just got lucky.
  13. Centennial's crushing of Gallatin wasn't a quality win
  14. In this matchup, I can't help but look at the quality of opponents that each team has faced all year. For Franklin, Region 6 is arguably the toughest region in the state of TN, and they played top-notch non-region opponents in Hillsboro and McCallie. For Hendersonville, Region 5 is relatively weak, and the only good non-region team they played (Beech, they beat weak Station Camp and Dickson Co. teams), they lost. I realize it's the playoffs, and the Commandos are rewarded for playing a weak schedule by getting to play at home, but I just can't see the Rebels losing. I have never seen "Yazzie" play, so I may be wrong, but I think the Rebel's safety, Starnes, a 6'4" athletic kid, combined with solid defensive back play, will limit his touches. Rebels keep on rolling, but Hendersonville keeps it close, 35-24.
  15. Except for a couple Franklin possesions, the running game of Ford and Lee ran at will against the stout Cougar D. Yes, the turnovers gave Franklin the ball, but C-C-CHS did nothing to stop the Rebels once they did get the ball. As for this game, if Centennial hasn't had a "signature win," then Gallatin surely has not. I'm going to have to go with the Cougars, because CHS has played a much tougher schedule than the Green Wave. I don't think Gallatin would be in the playoffs if they were in Region 6...
  16. Who knows??? I haven't seen Hendersonville play but I am very familiar with Ravenwood. There could be a Ravenwood team that shows up and plays exceptionally well, like we have seen with the victories over Brentwood Academy and Brentwood. But, we could see a Ravenwood team that lost 27-0 to Franklin and 44-28 to Centennial. I'm predicting the better team of RHS to show up, and Ravenwood wins it 27-24. Close game either way...
  17. I'll tell you what is next for the Waverly tigers!!! Not crap!!!! I think that the Waverly tigers are a lot like the 2007 Dolphins!!! They are going to lose every game for about the next 15 games! The only way they win another game for the next 5 years is if they hire good ole coach parker from blackman as their head coach, coach dunkle from perry county as an assistant, and coach van winkle!!!!!!!!!!!!! they are going to lose, except if they play the perry county!
  18. I am not Blake Harvey. I am much more incredible than soem ###### Blake Harvey! Blake Harvey can stink my ######!
  19. Check out your own spelling of grammAr there buddy
  20. KingZ, If you are not a part of Franklin High School, then please show some class and don't call out high school players. It is immature and dumb. If you are a part of FHS, then I think it's pretty weird that you would call out "your own" jsut to try to motivate them. Either way, your posts show absolutely no class.
  21. I'm gonna have to take SUNNYLAND in this one, over Cloudland, because I like to tan. HAMPton is a great school, with some great teachers, and an even greater P.E. department. Even more, I'm gonna have to take SUNNYLAND because I really like the history department of the fine school, they really know their facts!
  22. I'm gonna have to take good ole Perry County in this great matchup. I have one reason, and it is a colossal reason. COACH DUNKLE. good ole perry county gonna have its way and coach dunkle gonna be happy
  23. And even further, Coach Parker knows that the Cascade Champions will win this game, because they are still affiliated witht eh great man. White House AINT SUGAR!!!!!!!!!!!! Cascade high takes the cake in a 73-0 rampage of White House Heritage. I LOVE COACH PARKER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
