Wait a minute...Dyersburg people ridiculed Obion Co. for moving a game last year b/c of rain and now they are moving a game b/c of rain? Now that's funny.

Don't blame OC for your team being unprepared. It's not the first time they have attempted an onside this year. You should have preparerd for it. You should have taken advantage of the good field position, too, but you didn't. OC came after you w/ their foot on the gas and then coasted in the second half. Milan beat you by 48, too. Are you serious? I guess they put a "nice" 48 on you. Doesn't matter how you score and when you score. Bottom line is Coach Jackson wanted it over early, and it was. Allowed the starters to rest and the subs to play. It's called a clue, and based upon your 4 million posts, you NEVER have one.

As I read this post, one word comes to mind...clueless. First of all, if you are an OC alum (and I'm sure you are not) then you know that the Rebel football program had sunk into the abyss of West TN football. What Coach Jackson has done with the program in 3 years is remarkable. I've watched this program for more years than you...and that's a fact. There is no coach, and I mean NO COACH in the Rebel program that works as hard as Shawn Jackson. Maybe if the coaches in the other programs worked as hard, they too would enjoy some success. Kind of hard to prepare your team when you don't put forth the effort. Sounds like some people envious of the football program. He has offered to help EVERY athletic program in the school through summer conditioning, weight training, etc. He's NEVER encouraged a player to just play football, so believe whatever you want. And as far as the AD losing his position, you couldn't be any further from the truth.

It's called a "clue", and you obviously don't have one. Did you see Trenton's baseball team last year? I thought they looked pretty good myself, so what's wrong with what they're doing if it makes the BASEBALL & FOOTBALL teams better.

You may be correct. OC may only beat WV once or twice out of 10 games, but that second time may just be in a game for a trip to the boro, and that's all that matters.

Westview falls to OC, 2-1. I'd say the district is wide open.

Pretty sure they have showers at OC and I'm sure Coach Jackson will finish practice in time for a shower. Also, consider they won't have to worry about the heat that early in the day in August & September.

Fussell was chosen the MVP for the season. Voted on by the COACHES. Coach Larue was selected by his peers for the season, the COACHES from 13AA. If you have a problem, take it up with THEM, not the player or coach. Coaches are not allowed to vote for anyone on their own team.

Next time you post game times, you might want to make sure they are correct. Obion Co./Hickman Co. game was at 11:30.

Unbelievable...one person mentions "I wonder if Fussell will transfer" and everyone thinks it's a done deal. Don't count on it happening. Not saying it might not happen, but would be EXTREMELY surprised.

I see some winable games. They just have to prove it on the field.
