  1. Oh ya. My fault. I never learned my dates in school =D
  2. Powell has a good QB and not much else. Knox Central also has Jamie and not much else. Halls will be big, strong and battle for top 3 in the region. West will be young but talented and battle for top 3. South Doyle has some talent this year and will compete with Clinton for 4th Lenoir City..... Clinton has Hazelhurst and Stone and will be much improved.
  3. I know football is a team sport but I don't think Central has a very good team in general. They would have had a better season if Styles was there to be a playmaker for the Cats. Now that he is gone I don't know who else they will look to besides Jamie. You could enlighten me though bobcat09.
  4. So I heard AE is playing West at the Jamboree. Any thoughts?
  5. Christian Francis and Jordan Fulton at Knox West have an opportunity as Sophs to be key players in the Rebels offense. Francis is more of a mobile QB then Jake Ryan was and has pretty decent arm strength and is great at making good decisons. Fulton reminds me of Jack Wagner just a little smaller.
  6. Knox West at Knox Catholic on 7/8 Mcminn Co. at Knox West on 7/1
  7. Well. Central's year is done. Jamie can't do it all..
  8. SD gets happy because they beat a middle of the road Central team. Ha. Beat a Halls, West, or Maryville then talk IHOP.
  9. Whoever put Bearden at number 1 must still think they have all those seniors from last year...They are not even top 5.
  10. Why is this an argument. You can not say Bearden will be good because they have one good sophomore RB. The bottom line is that Bearden has a weak Junior class and I hardly know of many besides Fine that are stars in the Senior Class. Sophomores, nonetheless one, are going to make that big of a difference. I highly doubt Bearden will make the playoffs this year..
  11. I have read many posts on this topic and I'm puzzled. West has one of the strongest Junior classes coming up in school history. This class' freshman team lost only 1 game. Many of them played last year as sophs. Yes their Senior class is weak, however they have a couple returning starters from last year. Anthony Cook an athletic kid who played receiver last year looks to be the QB if he recovers from a torn ACL suffered in Feb. Almost all their secondary returns, 3/5 of their line returns. They have a 2 JR running backs, One who is a playmaker the other is more of a powerback. West will be the sleeper in 3-4A.
  12. Maybe Luke schooled him a few times in the past and he is now trying to diss his lil bro. /roflol.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=":roflol:" border="0" alt="roflol.gif" />
  13. Oh sorry I was referring to Liverpool9. =D
  14. I only said if Diego plays. If not I'd say it's a toss up.
  15. It's hard for me to take a team that got beat 6-2 to Bearden. Oak Ridge 3-2 if Diego plays and is healthy.
  16. I want to see West beat Brentwood in the semis so ill take Brentwood 2-1I want to see West beat Brentwood in the semis so ill take Brentwood 2-1
  17. I don't know for certain. I don't think it matters. I've seen both of them play quite a bit and I would still pick Tanner over Ricardo. I like how Tanner is a little bit dirty, I think it's just his aggressiveness coming out and his will to win the game.
  18. I bet a few teams from Tennessee could hold their own against some of the big state teams.
  19. I would take Tanner from West over Ricardo. Tanner scores (I think he has around 14), he assists (somewhere around 12-13), and he can play almost any position on the field. Plus he has that deadly throw-in. Enough said.
  20. He played decent not a lot of difficult shots to defend. West was not shooting their best, so besides the 2 goals Mulholland was not challenged much. And on the goals Tanner's rebound of Cody's shot was tough luck for him because there was so much traffic in the box and the 2nd he was left one on one with Kenley who made a beautiful shot to beat him.
  21. For an assessment UC, The game was played pretty much on OR's half the entire first period. Diego went out about 10 minutes into the game with some kind of injury. West squandered a couple chances early to keep it tied up at halftime. In the second half West let OR get into their half more then the previous half. Good defense by West and a couple good saves by the keep helped keep it knotted up. Then Cody drove in shot and Tanner got the rebound and knocked it in. About a few minutes later Kenley(#12) got a nice send and broke away to beat the keeper and OR was done after that.
