Thanks for making my point...dummy...their best team in a decade would have finished 3rd in 3A region 2. They would not have gotten out of the 2nd round. They had "their best team in a decade" because they were in 4A.

In 3A, Loudon had never finished higher than 3rd in the Region. Move Loudon to 4A and they played Fulton in the Semi Finals in 2014. Back to 3A in 2015 and Loudon is last in Region.

Fist let me say that I hate that Cole Smith was injured. What a great player. I hope he is able to recover and play College ball if that what he wants to do. Prayers for him. I don't know what CAK will look like without Cole Smith. Will there be a big drop off between Smith and #2 QB?

Well Doc and Heather, I think this years Alcoa team will make their own mark on history. If we can stay close in the 4th qtr I predict a win over Maryville. Defense already looks better than expected and the offense is playing Rankin ball out of the gate. If we can make a run in the playoffs I have no idea who it will be on the other side.
