I noticed that most people on this thread are speaking about offensive players, but as far as the best defensive player in Tennessee it has to be #5 Dedrick Guy from Memphis Fairley. This 6'3" 220lb Linebacker plays with passion. He is a man among boys. He is around the ball every play. When he tackles you, he makes sure you feel it. I havent seen a Linebacker this good in the Memphis or West Tennessee area in a long long time. He has tackles for losses, sacks and interceptions returned for touchdowns. Dedrick Guy is definitely a beast on the field.

Demaris Peppers from Memphis Fairley High is a great candiate for top lineman. He plays Offensive Guard and Defensive Tackle. He is 6'3" 260 Junior. He was invited to the Nike Elite Camp in Houston,Tx as a sophomore. He was also invited to the U.S. Army Combine as a sophomore. He has helped pave the way for our top rushing running back. He has also recorded 6 sacks and 12 tackles for a loss.

Marcus Holliday II Running Back from Memphis Fairley High School. He has only played in six games. He missed the first three because of dislocated elbow. In six games, he has rushed for 1,044 yards and has 18 touchdowns. He is averaging 174 yards a game. He also has 120 yards receiving and 110 kick return yards. Fairley is now 7-2. His father played RB for Memphis State. He has made All-Metro for two years and will defintely be a Best of Preps finalist. He was invited to the Nike Camp as a sophomore and junior. He was also invited to the U.S. Army Combine.

I'm not a Whitehaven fan, but I'm sick of Middle Tennessee and East Tennessee muckraking the football and the coaching in Memphis. When we have great teams, you speak of our talent, but when you have great teams, you speak of coaches. Whitehaven has a beastly defense that is well discpline and well coached. My football philosphy is that defense and special teams win championships and they are successful in both departments thus far. Trust me you shouldn't be thinking about Neely's barbecue, you need to pray that your team does not become chop barbecue! And that smart guy with the wise cracks about holding on to your possesions and watch your back, Just don't cross the railroad tracks. Wooo Ric Flair!!!

To stop all Questions or Rumors, Coach Slocum is not stepping down and going into administration. He will be coaching Football and Track at Fairley High School for many years yet to come He is Fairley born and Fairley Bred and when he dies he is Fairley dead

GCPioneer, Manassas girls are athletic but Heather Butler is a beast for your team!!! Not to mention your girl inside Heather Griffin!!! I've seen your team play twice, and your team can play fast break offense and half court offense! That's makes a difference!!! It's a shame that Erica Ousley wasn't a Miss Basketball AA finalist!!! She is one of the reasons why Fairley is very successful. She averaged 26 points a game this season and hit 42 points in the regional championship!!! TSSAA should have come to 4950 Fairley Rd to see her play!!! Im so proud of Coach Bryant and his Lady Bulldogs!!! It's been a long time coming!!! I was at the Gibson Co vs Westview game and I started salivating when Gibson beat Westview!!! Westview will have to come to 4950 Fairley Road and honestly I don't think they realize what they are about to be a victim of. Fairley fans of young and old come one, come all because your Lady Fairley Bulldogs are about to make history!!!
