Gerally, I avoid trying to reason with folks who use the term "libs" and buy into every nonsense right wing conspiracy, but I'll give it one shot. I'm not sure why, though. First, AP is a perfectly fine news source. Plus, the info is verifiable in almost innumerable sources. Facebook isn't a source I used, to my knowledge, nor do I get information from there. Next, the "media" is a vague term encompassing a lot of different groups. But, if you think they control the governments of the world and events to the point of creating this panic all on their own, you are a complete and utter fool. Obama got less flak because he acted quickly and didn't make this about himself, nor call it a "Republican hoax". Why H1N1 wasn't deemed as dangerous as Covid19? Ask the CDC or WHO. It's important enough to them to make these recommendations and that's newsworthy. It's also newsworthy that Trump has dropped the ball, this far. Also, keep in mind this is early in the process, so comparing numbers is fruitless. This isn't the same as the swine flu. Because your information is wrong. Obama declared an emergency in April 2009, before anyone died. I don't know why this easily proved incorrect falsehood is making the rounds. Well, actually, I do, but anyway.... Regardless, to show how these things can be problematic, Obama declared an emergency when only 20 cases were known and 12,000+ still died. Stratford hit a bunch of threes in the first half to stay close and East got really sloppy in the third as Stratford went on a 22-4 run. East fought back to within 2, but could never get over the hump. Refs seemed to let a lot of Stratford hand checking go and the foul disparity, especially in the first half, was surprising as Stratford aggressively pressed the entire game and East was in a 1-3-1 zone for most of the game. East losing to MLK screwed them.

AA - Jayden Lockett of East Nashville

Levy is indeed a great player. However, let's not too carried away with one game. Last year when East and Upperman played, Levy wasn't the best player on the court, she wasn't even the best sophomore on the court. She's clearly a talent, though, and will have her pick of some very nice college choices.

Very poor effort from East defensively. Levy is a handful, but they didn't force her left the entire game, it seemed. Then, a lot of stupid fouls put Upperman on the line early and they didn't miss many of those. Upperman, on the other hand, didn't overwhelm me in the first three quarters, but Levy and Greenwood were very strong and their handling of the press by East was fantastic in the fourth quarter.

Nonsense. East is, roughly, 75% African-American. They don't set aside spots for minority kids, at all. Stop making up lies to denigrate their accomplishment.

Magnet schools don't get to pick their players, it's a random lottery draw for anyone who applies.
