It’s a good game by score but sloppy. 17-14 HC with 4:13 left. We are flat and playing with a mash unit. No excuses, we need to hold on here.

They have some players but the QB hasn’t been accurate. He starts hitting passes they might win it. HC has 6 starters out so we are trying to shorten the game and grind it out. Halftime HC-10 PT-6

You always call it like you see it and give credit where credit is due. Whether it’s good or bad for your team. I’m always quick to tip my hat to a tough team as well win or lose. Injuries and mistakes happen, they’re part of the game and teams have to play through that stuff.

It’s just too hard to give HC much credit? I have yet to see anyone mention the phantom pass interference call that kept the game tying drive on third and very long going. Maybe we can be on Springfield’s level if another match up happens.

It’s going to be a tough game. HC has several major contributors out with injury from my understanding.

I read KY granted kids and extra year because of Covid? How does that work?

An HC DB also dropped an INT close to the goal line that resulted in points for Beech. Beech won and that’s what matters at the end of the day.

The HC defensive pressure caused that mistake by your quarterback. I’ll never understand why it’s so hard for opposing teams fans to give credit. I’m not talking about my team only just in general. Your QB had to rush some of his missed passes because of pressure. I will always give the opposing team credit when they beat us.

Yes and it was an awful performance by HC.

I’m sure the thread will be slow this week since they are a Kentucky team. I did watch them play at the jamboree in Paris and they looked good. However, the opponent was average at best. They have a 3-3 record but 2 of the losses are from historically very good KY teams. HC needs to heal up but I think HC finds a way to win this one.

I didn’t post in the thread this week but watched both teams earlier in the year and honestly thought McKenzie was better. Dresden is very solid as well.

I imagine Springfield has several sore players in the morning as well.

Crenshaw is very good but he wasn’t the best player on that field tonight. We can agree to disagree on that.

Gary Gaines is NOT happy.
