I hear Crump field is pretty pathetic like said in a previous post. I believe Humboldt is the better team. Humboldt has shown a few spots of greatness but other spots of playing dumb football... stupid penalties, missed blocks, and questionable play calls but I think they know it's playoff time and should be mentally prepared Friday night. They are not over looking Douglas & know they will have to give it all it get their first playoff win since 06. I'll go ahead and make my prediction. Humboldt 35 Douglas 14

Well Humboldt finishes the seaon 6-4. Douglass is 4-6. This game is in Memphis & thats about all I know. I have no clue about Douglass except it is their first full varsity season. Anyone have any other info on these guys or care to make some predictions?

This will defiantly be one of the best games of the year... I'll give the home team, McKenzie, the slight edge. They are a tough team who knows how to get after it. If they put a stop to Huntingdon's running back Holder then they will come out with the W.

Dunbar was the QB bc our 2nd string QB had been playing all game long as well at CB & WR.. I mean come on man we kneeled down twice! You're acting like we called a hail mary or something! This is ridiculous! Greenfield isn't good, wasn't good, never has been good, come on man let's face it...... Greenfield will NEVER be good. Good day sir........ I SAID GOOD DAY!

Humboldt's second string o line was in all 4th quarter not much depth at the guard spots they kind of rotate in all night but the g's that were in in the 4th were the young ones. Humboldt was just playing football buddy nothing meant by it.

Humboldt has been on a W/L all year long. GC-W HC-L LC-W Milan-L SF-W McKenzie- L Peabody-W UC-L Greenfield-??? probably gonna be a win. Humboldt will get back Sr. RB/DB KJ Montague.. who was strong for them in the first 3 games of the year. It will be SR. night in the Boldt so look for a hyped up Viking team! This one has all the makings to get ugly but who knows after that mess of a game up in UC. I'll pick the Vikes by 3 maybe 4 TDs.

Don't count Humboldt out on the veer... Word is they've been practicing hard at it these past two days in practice.I am sure Bland & company know the ins and outs on how to stop it.It takes hard hits & discipline.Humboldt will have to be discipline to stop it which will be tough for the Vikings but don't count them out on it though! It should be a good one maybe a messy one but I think that will favor the Vikes, pitching the ball in a sloppy mess can be challenging but none the less expect a good one!!!!

Humboldt comes into this game after a district win over Peabody which also clinches a playoff berth for the Vikings. Humboldt is 4 & 3 with wins over GC,LC,SF & Peabody..Loses to HC,Milan & Mckenzie. The Tornadoes are 4 & 2 with wins over Trigg Co.,Peabody,Obion Co. & Greenfield.. Loses to Huntingdon & TCA. UC is 2 & 0 in district play & the Vikings are 3 & 0 in district play. So this one will be for the 14 A district title! Humboldt/UC is ALWAYS a big rivalry game on the basketball court. I know nothing about UC just know that they are an option team.. and thats about it. Humboldt is a strong team with an explosive double winged T offense. QB play for Humboldt is good also Sr. QB Darren Dunbarr has been on top of his game this year. Jr. RB/DB Quan Campbell is probably the most under rated player in West Tn! He is one of the best athletes I've ever seen. After injury to starting CB Chris McLilly he has taken over the job at CB and made some great plays in the passing defense game last week. This should be a good one next Friday... what's your thoughts?

Let me say this not to being a smart butt of anything like that! Humboldt is 3-3 have gave up 158 points on defense thats 26.3 a game. I know who they have played their schedule has been tough. Peabody defense has gave 165 points this season. Yes Peabody has played a tough schedule also UC, Mckenzie, Dresden and Milan. They have only gave up 7 more points that HBT i have nothing against HBT have friends in HBt and like to see the county schools do well. Don't get on here and dog Peabody's defense when HBt is no better my friend. No i don't think Peabody will be HBt but HBt has yet to have a quality win the only good team they beat was LC and they almost lost that one in the second after leading 28-0 at half! Meaning no disrespect good luck the rest of the year! Great post man, nothing wrong with what you said..I agree 100% Humboldt does have a questionable defense. The Vikings do fairly well shutting down the run, but struggle all the time in the passing game.. all it will take is a little more pressure on the QB. This game will be interesting but Humboldt if can break the trend of sinking to their opponents level of play & play like last week's second half I have no doubt HBT will come away with a W!

Well, word out of Milan is that Peabody was the weakest defense that they've seen all year. Not sure about what type of offensive weapons they have but I have heard that last years QB... Lumley maybe?? Tall white guy.. well I heard he changed to WR so who's their QB??

From what I've heard Peabody has a less than stellar team this year & are inexperienced at best. They are 1-4 with a petty win over Greenfield. This one is HUGE for both teams & it is both of the teams biggest game of the season! Humboldt will be ready to lay the wood on the Tide come Friday night so get ready Peabody! Hope you guys are looking to do the same!

Humboldt had no timeouts left all it took was a kneel down lol.. but it's no big deal! I really like what yall have goin out there in Rebel country!Seems to me Humboldt has a pattern of playing at the same level as their opponents... which is good when we are playing the likes of yall, Henry Co. & Milan but not so good when we go to South Fulton & play other sub par ball teams.. The Arnold kid #12... wish he would've stuck around in Humboldt lol but the QB # 82 or something was impressive think his name is Mkinney or something another, he was a tough customer as well as # 21.

This was a great game both teams played their hearts out & left it all on the field... Humboldt put together a come back and had the best second half of the year... the refs did have some questionable calls for both sides... and i didn't really like how the rebels were still trying to punch it in with seconds left in the game.

Interesting . . . really? i guess you could call it that.i prefer to call it ugly. i tell you what friday nite has in store for the vikings. a beat down. only way humbolt wins this game is if mckenzie doesnt show up and wont let their cheerleaders play. Hmm... a little cocky aren't we?? but hey i like it! nothing wrong with a little trash talkin'!!! yall have the past to back it up as well...but we'll see come friday night with the weather the way it is we might be in for a sloppy one!

This will be an interesting match up to say the least. I expect the Vikings to step their game up & Campbell to be 100%... I know absolutely nothing about the Rebels, but I've heard that yall know how to play some football out there & I can't wait to see what friday night has in store for us.

Well this one was definitely a weird one... it was a close one but..the refs did take away two touchdowns of ours on very questionable calls.The vikings defense just couldnt find the answer to SF's motion sweep play..that's basically how they marched down the field on all of their scoring drives.Campbell did see limited action in this one you could clearly tell that he was not 100% he was slower & just wasnt his usual self.All though he did have a about a 60 yrd. td run called back on a blocking in the back or clipping call that was miles away from the play & shouldnt have been called.. but hey? that's football right? Humboldt kinda got down on themselves & didn't play to their full potential. The Vikings travel to McKenzie this week for an sure to be great match up!

The word i've heard is the team physician has cleared Campbell to play this friday in South Fulton soo look out red devils!! I know absolutely nothing about South Fulton, all I know is that it's about an 1 /12 to 2 hour drive frome Humboldt... but as far as the football team it's a mystery to me.

Campbell's status for friday night is still uncertian.

Well i have alot of family in Crockett co. & they have been telling me that the cavs are really good this year & DC is a young team & i think they are 0-3 i'll say the cavs role over the choctaws 42-14.

This should be a real good game! If UC can shout down the mustangs fast back # 23 i think... then they should be victorious... I'll say UC 28 Huntington 24.

This should be a pretty good game... i thought GC would beat Ripley after they showed to be a very good offensive team in hbt.. but idk what happened? I really have no clue who will win this one but let's keep in the county GO GC! lol..
