This game was one of the best games that I have seen in a while. The back and forth seasawing was great. Although SP lost I for one, and many more SP fans are not upset at all! Watching Millard and co. grow up out there and make some terrific thows and runs was very reassuring to watch. I loved seeing the fight in the team when SM would score and our boys come right back at them not backing down at all. Now correct me if I'm wrong but SM returned many good players from last years team that SP beat,and thats what makes me feel good about this SP team. With only a hand full of seniors, we got some young guys stepping up and makeing a statement that everyone should recognize. SP is and will be a force for quite some time. A little something to the SP boys dont hang your heads nobody can say anything negative about you. You guys have the fight and hunger in you to play with anybody in your path. So take tonights game and learn from it and keep the fight and heart alive and you will be just fine. On another note to the guys wanting to stir the pot such as rcva, go right ahead... after all its not everyday you get to say that you beat a qualitiy team such as SP. But you know as well as I do that was no cake walk for SM. It took everything they could muster. And keep in mind by the way we are still proud of our boys no matter what! SM fans and player thanks for the good game, it only makes SP better.You guys have a good ball team with some hard runners and should go very far this year. I really hope that if you guys do get moved up in calss the match will continue on next year though. So congrats SM on the win and hope we can meet up in Cookville this Dec. and bring the 1A and 2A Gold back home.

SC fans better get there early in order to get a decent parking spot.Also you guys better have some cash ready too they charge for the parking. If you get there after its filled up like I did last year you might have to take a long stroll through a non lighted trail through the woods. Other than that, I hope both teams play well without any injuries. Dont really have a dog in this fight, so good luck to both.

Cascade11, what would be the best way to get there and some good places to eat b4 the game other than Mexican joints? (We've got way to many of those here in the valley lol).

I'm going to say that SP has their hands full tomarrow but no more than they can handle... SP: 21 , TC: 14. Best of luck to the winner on going on to claim a gold ball!

I agree 100 percent with OP on his feelings toward Sp. Right now they are not playing their best ball, but they did kinda spark a little in the second half of the FC game with a few nice runs and plays. On the other hand if they do that against TC i dont think that it will be nearly enough with a nice play here and there, they are going to have to come out and flat out get after this TC bunch like i know they can. With that being said SP has some big time play makers and as OP said Malcom is one of them, but they also have a very aggressive Bubba Ramsey ( this kid imo is gonna be ready to throw the wood! ) , Keaton Jones, and a kickoff man that im not sure of his name but he was booming on kickoffs last friday. Now with all the big predictions i dont see how they can be ligit with SP not playing their best ball, so i'm going to say it like this if SP plays good then i think they can win, but if they come out flat like they have here these past few weeks lol it could get ugly. And one more thing our crowd needs to be a little louder in the stands for our boys. they seem a little dead.

Sp is really alot tougher than what they appeared to be last night IMO. but Sp really needs to get some controll over those stupid penalties and mistakes. i think the week off hurt them a little and threw them a lil out of the saddle. does anyone else feel this way?... because i know they have plyed alot better ball prior to the past 2 ball games. i have not lost my confidence in them though by any means, i still believe that they are the team to beat. i just think they need to get back in their rythm like against Tyner and Boyd. with that being said i think if Sp can get back in that rythm they will crush FSC, play TC a heck of a ball game, and bring home another gold ball.

This game IMO could come down to the wire, with both of these teams being highly respected among other good football programs. Both have really good Defeses and pretty good offense. I think Boyd has the edge in this one but... the mighty Ram train could pull an upset, Time will tell. I hope everyone has a safe and outstanding game and good luck to both teams.

wow these Greenback/Oneida faithful are sadly mistaken to think for one that their region is the toughest and two that either of these 2 teams are better than TC. or SP. TC. and SP. are the true monsters that run 1a ball. As for games of the past they matter none, they have had their day. Now is what matters, can Greenback/Oneida surrvive in the playoffs?... Well i for one can only hope they make it to SP or TC because then IMO they will meet their maker. P.S. GO PIRATES!!!

From what i have seen out of SP so far is that their defense is very strong and alive; going into games and using their big front to blow up plays in the back field. Keaton Jones is pretty impressive himself, he is nothing short of a hoss. With that being said their offense is a power house that is able to execute plays to the T resulting in big time points. Grace may be a good team this year and have some good atheletes, but as far as them scorring double digits on SP...I just cant see it happening.the most i think they will be able to put up is 6 or 7 if any. so I'm going with SP big in this one. SP - 42 / Grace - 0

wow tnsprtsfan thats a pretty big slap in the face to those 2nd & 3rd string guys when they are the ones that put up most of the points. IMO those guy deserve all the respect they can get bc any 2nd and 3rd string that gets a chance to play against a opposing first string and put up points deserves respect. What else do you want to happen?... maybe put in the cheerleaders...

Tyner is a great ball team with alot of respect and history, but SP is as well. By never watching SP man o man your in for a treat becuase the firework will boom and the pads will pop. its hard to say who is going to walk out of this one the victor but whatever the out come, hats off. SP is for sure #1 until someone with a quality team can step up to the plate and prove otherwise. On the other hand TC could very well be that team IMO because they are a power hard nose football team just as well as SP. Take it to the bank that if SP and TC do square off in the playoffs there will be alot of heart left on the field afterwards because the both of the two are very hungry ball teams.
