  1. We had a nice season and a pretty good little playoff run. It's funny how Seth came up on CoachT this past week and how awesome his hands were. Wrong! Nevertheless it was a fun season, and a successful season, and I will still refer to The Mama's House Raiders, as The Mama's House Raiders. That's not trash talk, that's just callin em like I see em.
  2. Did you get that inside information on the point guard from the Holston Optimist scouting director?
  3. I agree with Count Monte Cristo on this one. Rebs should roll.
  4. Look, when I see Bearden and Science Hill, I think guys basketball. I didn't know people were getting on here and shooting the breeze about girls basketball. Losing the MLC sure left you bitter, didn't it?
  5. Think of all those people stomping all over those fake blades of the grass. Wait till Taylor Swift comes to Kingsport and blares her tunes to the synthetic surface!
  6. And also, does anybody know what happened with the Bearden-Science Hill game. I thought it was last night, but I can't find anything about it.
  7. Thanks for the info, and I appreciate the Rebel support.
  8. I still have my mind on the Rebel's football season but I love basketball and I'm getting pretty pumped. I think the top 4 will be fun to watch this year. Right now football is still dominating CoachT, can anyone like tricitiessportsfan tell when/if these basketball threads will catch on. The football threads have been a lot of fun but I'm not seeing the same energy on the basketball threads.
  9. With the back half of the big 9 jumbled in mediocrity, does Zach Garland the 6'10" soph at Crockett have much to offer? I'd have to think that a kid that size with any skill at all would dominate games around here. Or is he just a big body without much game. I know Crockett won 1 conference game last year and typically aren't very good but can Garland push them up the standings?
  10. I am rebelrebelman. You keep saying rebelrebel when you're refering to realrebel. I don't want my name to be brought into this argument. Are you Seth's dad by the way?
  11. Wouldn't the Unemployment Office parking lot be all filled up already?
  12. There has been some talk about rebelrebelman becoming the new coach at DB, any truth to that? Actually, it's 100% true, but I'll only take the job if I can get approval from the DB elite on these message boards. Let's get those blessings going.
  13. These are some of the nicest comments I've read. There's some classy people out there. You are great people, and I'm glad to have you on my side!
  14. Most band parents that I've encountered at a number of schools are ridiculous. I rarely just hear "Our Little Johnny plays the flute." I always hear more like, "That Johnny can play the flute like nobody's business but yet quarterback gets all the glory! Where's the justice?!" Ok, maybe I dramatized that a little bit, you catch my drift. Those who can't play football, play the clarinet, and hey there's nothing wrong with that. It's the parents that kill me, though. Band parents are complaining about our football team's performance? The band is playing because of our football team. Band parents have always acted like they are in a exclusive club that's better than everyone else. The band is like girl's basketball...when things are going well, we'll say we're proud of you guys. But at the end of the day nobody cares about either of them but the parents. And nobody cares about the parents at a high school. When you're playing second fiddle (i.e. the band to the football team) to something, just accept it and shut up. Don't try to fight it. It's a democracy, people, and at South the majority wants football. Let it be. Be proud of your band kid and cheer for our football team. It's patriotic!!! And if you're a band parent and this post offended you, then hopefully you aren't like the band parents I've met. Rebelrebelman 1 - band parents 0
  15. Another historic day...post #200!!!! The Inner Circle should be proud. The only thing that can make it all worth while though is to see my Rebels get a win in Greeneville. Reberebelman is my name, posting is my game.
  16. That's all you can do is call em like you see em.
  17. There's more than 1 way to have fun at a Rebels game! Nah, I'm joking. I've been extremely busy lately, so the posts have dwindled, but I'll take the fearless leader tag any day. Go rebels!
  18. Waco has to play the tough guy role on here, but trust me folks I know what I saw. Inner Circle members can attest to this. Waco tried to crash our meeting and steal a membership, and it wasn't happening. I'll swear to it. No, we don't go to the mancave, we reserve a room at Meadowview (you would know, you followed us). Our reservations were under the title, "McMinn 28 DB 24." I don't know...it just felt right. WACO WANTS TO JOIN THE INNER CIRCLE!!!!!!
  19. I dig down deep. No matter how dark things look, I find a light and I run with it. I will continue to post strong!!!!!
  20. Exactly right RTTC. And his access to one is....DENIED!!!!!!
  21. The players seemed to resemble humans. If I'm correct, every player on the floor had both arms and legs and walked in an upright motion. Players varied in height and body mass, as well hair color. Despite those defining characteristics, those were definately human beings. For photographs of humans, go to Google images, keyword humans. I hope I was helpful.
  22. Ignorant and stupid cancel each other out, you have to choose one or the other. W1ldcat, I wouldn't worry about anything this clown has to say. He doesn't know what to do with all of this free time he has since the McMinn loss.
  23. Well, it's Unicoi. So, it pretty much amounts to nobody cares. Maybe if the administration went through a rigorous hiring process, instead of hiring the first bum they see, winning would be a little easier.
  24. The Inner Circle was having its weekly meeting last night, going over the basics. Talking South football, politics, shootin' the bull...then all of the sudden some guy showed up in a South sweatshirt. He sat down at the table and jumped in our conversation, acting like he owned the place. All of the I.C. members were looking around at each other, trying to figure out who this guy thought he was, showing up uninvited. Finally, it hit Rebeltothecore and he said, "That's Wacojaco!" And sure enough, he blushed and ran out of the room, screaming something like "Please, just let me join, I'll do anything!" The Inner Circle's influence is vast, and even the DB "faithful" want in.
  25. What a champ, you're the man. Congratulations, the Inner Circle is pleased. Somewhere Waco is shaking his head in dismay.
