I feel like he would be the leading candidate on the current coaching staff. He has around 24+ years of coaching experience if I'm not mistaken. Just never been a HC in high school has he? I think he coached the freshman team at Oak Ridge at one time? Correct me if I'm wrong.

This is a job that someone has to be willing or wanting to accept the challenge. Clinton has some good players, they just need someone to put the pieces together. Shortage of linemen are hurting Clinton this year.

If Clinton is healthy and doesn't turn the ball over, I think they will win by 7-10 points. Something along the line of 28-18 or 28-21. If Clinton is not healthy and turns the ball over. I say Karns 35-21.

I feel like the difference in this game was the fact that West had already been battle tested. AC did beat Powell in the first game, but that was without Wheeler. This game will help AC come playoff time though imo.

You're 100% correct. On paper, Maryville is the clear favorite, but this game would make me nervous if I'm a Maryville fan.

The best team (record wise) that Oak Ridge has beaten so far is McMinn County (4-4). All of Oak Ridge's wins have come against teams with losing records so far. They are beating the teams that they should except for Farragut....that definitely surprised me. Maybe Oak Ridge isn't as good as we thought they were? Oak Ridge will have a hard time beating Bearden, but they should win their last 2 games finishing with a 6-4 record. Once the playoffs start, anything is possible.
