Who do yu see as a challenge on next year's schedule?

Coach Some of you are just making AC look ignorant with your name-calling and degrading remarks. How about staying on topic and be an adult. It's silly that some want their childhood best friend to be head coach and are disrespectful to those that don't agree. It's really not helping anyone as a candidate. It's just showing the maturity level of their friends and reinforces the idea that they may be to young for this level right now. Hopefully, we will all soon know the new HC at AC!

How many 25 year olds are a head coach around the state? Besides playing football at AC for their senior season, how in the world are they more qualified than guys with real coaching/world experience? Just a question, I am not trying to raise the ire of the oppressed/mystery.

I don't get your agenda. I could cut and paste 30 posts you've made about Bearden this year where you point out their flaws and negative attributes. What about their positives? The way they shut down teams defensively, attack the rim, or competed as underdog against Oak Hill. I have also seen many times where LC has not always conducted themselves to perfection. Why so hard on Bearden's kids? Are you really that jealous of their accomplishments? What's sad is that this is the best East TN has produced in many years and you have nothing but bushleague comments. If you really believe what you are saying is it not better to just keep your pent up aggressions/jealousies to yourself. I'm not the biggest fan of Bearden's antics either, but give the boys a little respect. Are you talking about Craig, Simpson, Rico, Greene, Galen, etc. I don't think you are. Parker is not the poster child for this team, so what about the team as a whole? Don't try to justify what your talking about because everyone on here has seen it too. So what! It's Bearden and it comes with the territory. For them to win the state they better have some swagger about them. It's a fine line they tread.

Maybe the cockiest group on here this year was Mo West. Why is no one discussing this game? What happened? How in the worl did Powell play ith them when Mo West was the best in the state. At least if you asked a Mo West fan.

This tournament always has 10 reps from the girls and 10 reps from the boys. The MVP is the 11th. Why Catholic chose to only do 5 for each is beyond me.

Great question? It will go unnoticed to the basketball coach and administration at AE come Friday. Would this happen at another school? It's hard to say because basketball players at most schools aren't getting suspended from school, especially during tournament time. At least his priorities are straight. Come Saturday Pryor will be suited up ready to go and AE will act like nothing happen, or say he's really a good kid when you get to know him. The lack of accountability toward athletes at AE is sad.

I think 1AAA clean sweeps 2AAA in regionals this year. I still think there is an outside chance for DB/Science Hill in the regional championship.

This will be a great matchup of guards. Didn't Pryor leave at halftime of the Fulton game earlier this season and AE still won? AE by 1

Is Union finally healthy? This district does not have a dominant post player so Union with their talent is the best team when healthy. Of course, Grainger has McBee, but Union has three scorers that are pretty good too.

Didn't Oneida play AC tough? How come Grace can't blow them out? Maybe a surprise come tourney time. What happened to Williams for Grace? Is he not playing anymore? Funny how a transfer shows up just in time for tournaments.

How many kids attend South Doyle that don't play because Coach Barnes is too tough? Has anyone asked Barnes to jump off the Gay Street Bridge like Turtle says a player's coach would do? I'm sure after coaching at SD the thought has crossed his mind.

If a coach in 4AA tells me they would take Broussard or Kiser over Rorex or Cross then they are lying! This is funny to the point of ridiculous. LOL

Made the trek from the plateau to the valley tonight to catch AC vs Grace. It makes me feel even better about how the Indians played the Mavs. I believe with the right game plan and execution the Indians are a team that can play with Grace. If Oneida can slow Grace's fast break look out. AC had their guards playing the Grace pg from the moment the shot went up. Not saying it worked every time, but they slowed them some and were able to pull out a victory over Grace. Oneida has found a good thing recently and can maybe get hot in the toruney. Go Indians!
