Well any ones knows that the ball goes to the man/men that can get the job done and last night CB could not get the job done...donts get me wrong..I like CB and all but last night he just wasn't clicking...esp when he got pancaked in the backfield..but who knows that mite have been the O's way of saying hey we're playing as a team and not the "I" man ball. and the coaches kids comment is and we all know it. Read Coach T's rules - ZP ZP....Can I say Bull Snot?? And I agree with TTP...if CP has a problem don't go whine to big bro that can't do a darn thing about it..go to the man that can! Wells now lets me think on that there statement...if'in a person went to skool his whole life in SP..then he would have went to SP his middle school too...that would make his whole life....nope Hale jumped the fence...maybe a hopper..yea...a Fence Hopper.

Look I am just stating the facts about jr. high ball and how it has translated to the high school game..I was talking to some coaches today, varsity and middle school and this is what they told me...Sp has won last 4 years by this score 2005--14-8--2006--38-14--2007--48-0--2008--46-0.. Raquis Hale a Pirate player scored the two tds in 06 and Corpeio scored the one in 05...And Jasper middle has not beat them since 2000...So yall had to steal a couple players just to even score touchdowns on us! Just stating the facts like I said..and that is all folks from powerp until the thread opens back up next week!!! Good luck all valley teams!! So when you talk about the enrollment growing are you talking about the up coming kids actually staying at SP or does SP expect Fence Jumpers to increase their roll. Maybe that new development on SP Mtn will bring in the kids or is there another being build closer we don't know about yet? I guess when all the changes are made, the roll will be up one additional kid from last year for sure. Glad to see the leadership is back at SP.......overdue.

MCmother....I am sorry that SP girls basketball program is being used to bring in another football coach. I have been told the same thing as you and pretty much know that it is all gonna go down just like you said. I do know that Wilson does have basketball coaching experiance but we all know that is not the reason why he will be brought in. It is a shame that Mrs Webb is being done this way...should make the other coaches at SP a little worried about their coaching positions. I think someone needs to talk to the school board rep also...are these things decided amoung the school administration or does the SB have any say in these situations. Another thing that has been kept really quiet is the firing of another teacher/coach...and just so happens its the same subject that Mr. Wilson teaches... I am sorry but even Ray Charles can see what is going on here....

I read very often but post seldom.....Most of the time we are dealing with folks on here that are Freshman or have the mentality of a Freshman..anyway..here is my two cents for what it is worth. Did you ever think for a minute that some of these kids jumped fence for reasons other than sports? The kids that Pirate was mentioning didn't transfere to Marion recently..all but one has been in Marion/Jasper since 6th or 7th grade. I know alot of parents did not want their kids at the other school for various reasons and that is the buisness of the parents and none of anyone elses. From what I read Pirate fans to make everything out to be about sports where most parents are more concerned with education and learning enviornment. Things have turned around since then so the jumping has slowed a little. The game does not seem to be cancelled but postponed. And here is where we can tell we are dealing with those of a Freshman mentality...when school is out for any reason games can only be played if they are district games. It takes common sense to see that if you can't get up and go to school then why should you be allowed to go/have a ballgame. (They even cancelled the little kids games on Saturday too) If you were to ask, the decision WAS MADE by the AD of both schools...and one of the schools was starting a game in Chattanooga when the decision was made for school to be out and the game postponed. Yep, Whitwell played but they played a school that was in session that day, and Signal was the host team and so the game was allowed. Call it what you may...Marion got lucky that the game was postponed during a time one of the best was going to be out and I don't think SP players and coaches are complaining to much..just giveseach more time to prepare for a great rival game.

It will be a very close game and Seq may win this one. But with ol Silkie coaching- MC might win by a land slide cause we all know he has taught a few of those players ...and one really can play the "D"
