Sounds to me like the Sunbright goal is that 4 slot in the region which gets you a playoff spot and usually a first round loss. And honestly, given their past, thats not a bad goal to have if its the best you can hope for.

If possible, sit next to someone affiliated with the TSSAA, if the same refs as last week show up, you'll have someone to complain to. Some serious home cookin' down there.

Oneida will absolutely destroy Sunbright, the only thing that will save you the embarassment will be Oneida's coaches playing the younger kids early.

yes I did forget to mention that, sorry. They did both get the red, and I did notice the girl from AC sat out the afternoon game that same day, dont know the ruling on reds and tournaments but she sat out 2 games same day.

The McMinn Co. coach yelled out onto the field at one of his players to "mark number 10, she's the one with the ball now". Five minutes later, the girl from McMinn and girl from AC are playing very physical when the McMinn girl throws a punch and hits the AC girl in the back of the head. The AC girl turns around and throws a stiff right to the eye, nose region and then its broken up. One of the McMinn coaches later gets a warning followed by an immediate yellow card so it looks as if the apple doesn't fall far from the tree here. I believe the ref's warning was "coach your players, not us....one more thing and its a yellow card" the coach immediately smarts off again and the ref pulls the yellow. This being said, the tournament was awesome and put on very well. Nice facilities CCS!

The best part of the Campbell County game was seeing those crappy ref's getting a ticket on their way home! Got to love the Caryville Police Dept.

Honestly, I feel that if the announcers are going to being pulling for one team or another, they should just let it be known up front before kick-off. It was clear that Packer and his buddies did their homework on GP, they knew the names and history of every kid GP had. They referred to most of the Oneida kids by their number. But, if your from Oneida or follow them, you should be used to it by now, according to them Hood was a converted defensive end who had no business playing quarterback. I think given the circumstances, Hood did as good as he could have. The shame of it all is that he doesn't get to play as much defense as he'd like to. I do wish they would take one day of practice and pull #24 to the side and work on his ball handling, this has got to be corrected. Oneida should be fine as far as region games go, if they stay healthy. I'm hearing that a couple of people were pretty banged up last night.

YEAH 3 in one game! I remember now...LOL seems like it was at the Monterey game in like 1983? The poor guy broke his arm in practice the next week and missed the rest of the season.

The last time Oneida went "outside" and brought in a total stranger, it paid off tremendously. After that first 4 and 6 season, Jim May had some really fine teams. The quick and easy fix would be someone who is already on staff, and this late in the year that may be the best for now. I honestly don't think Coach Bur. is the answer, no reason needed.....I do like coach W though I guess because I played for him like 30 years ago. Did the Brewster kid start out at Oneida in coaching? I know he played there and all but I know nothing about his coaching history??

You can NOT run up the middle on TC. If you have alot of speed you can beat them to the corner maybe 1 outta 4 times. They are however vulnerable in the secondary.
