We are looking for another team for our play day. It will be on Aug. 4th. Each team will get 4 (40 min.) matches. Cost is $100. Contact Coach K at dylankleparek@dekalbschools.net if interested.

I agree that Loudon comes out fast. They had us 3-0 at half, but we were able to turn it around to 4-3 by the end of the game. Loudon is very fast and passes well, but we saw Greenville in Gatlinburg playing Central Magnet and they have a very strong defense. Seeing them both play I would give the advantage to Greenville, but anything can happen.

Are any coaches in Tennessee using Hudl, and if so how do you like it? Is it worth the money?

I could see Cumberland and Stone Memorial in District 8 and Murfreesboro Central going west with Page and others. Central to Macon and Livingston is a much farther drive than Page.

It was a very well played game by Greeneville. They dominated ND. Way to go Devils.

There are 16 teams in the A-AA Regional Finals. Next year 7 will be DII, 3 will be A, and 6 will be AA.

3 big games on Tuesday for District 8 A-AA. Livingston at Macon, I think Livingston will win, but they are down a man due to red card and they are playing at Macon? Central Magnet at Merrol Hyde. A battle for 1st in the West. DeKalb at Smith. Smith Co. looks good this year, also a battle for 1st in the East.

WOW!!! District 8 A-AA is heating up! Big district games on April 12th, Merrol Hyde ends Goodpasture's undefeated/ unscored upon streak with a 5-1 win! And, Smith County knocks of Livingston in a 2-1 win. I did not see that coming. Congrats to both teams. Looks like Smith County is the team to beat in the East. Oh yeah, Central beat Watertown 10-0, I thought it might be more, after the little incident, I'm sure Coach Bennett called off the dogs early.

Well,sorry it took so long to post. Not all of our scores are being posted so it's tough to get a true idea of how the district is shaping up, but this is the way I see it as of now. WEST: 1. Central Magnet (one of the top 5 teams I've ever seen, should be a State Contender) 2. Goodpasture (haven't seen them yet, but based on scores, they could be #2 in the district) 3. Merrol Hyde (always put together a strong team, but the scores I've seen, they may be down a bit) 4. Watertown (much improved, but still new and young, I was impressed with their keeper) 5. Cannon Co. (Looked better in the preseason, but I heard they lost to Watertown, with coaches as refs?) EAST: 1. DeKalb County (should be good, if we can get over sickness and injuries) 2. Livingston (gave us a tough physical match in preseason, definitely will be a battle for the top spot in the East, Coach King always puts together a tough team, haven't posted many scores) 3. Smith County (much improved, have some good athletes, new coach seems to have them working hard, big win over Macon) 4. Macon County (surprised to see their scores, seem to be a little down this season, expect them to improve) 5. York (haven't seen them yet, they always have some good athletes) Just my opinion, best of luck to everyone.

I was referring to Greenville as the motivator, not Booger. Seeing them have success against the quality private schools will give us confidence that we too (another public) can have the same success with a lot of hard work.

Congratulations to Greenville. It is so impressive how you did it. Completely dominating some really good teams and programs. I know first hand how tough those teams are and just keeping up with them would be impressive, but to beat them convincingly is awesome. As for NassalDrip, I am never amazed at the complete idiot you can be. Your team (which I'm sure they are proud to have you as their spokesman) got beat, and yet you still won't shut up. As for any "Banner" that might have been "Sheaded", if anything this will motivate us more to continue to work harder to achieve, because we have seen it done. SneezeVomit you berate anyone with a different opinion than yours, which is why there are fewer and fewer good discussions on these boards. I can remember before people like CrustyNose, we used to talk about soccer on here. PS. your daughter graduated....move on!!!
