  1. G-ville will be better when Coach Marshall realizes he is not as smart as he thinks and tells everyone he is.
  2. Will new Director of schools Medley allow Maynord coach and be principal?
  3. Any of the rebel seniors getting any college looks?
  4. Every team goes through up and down years. Give credit where credit is due and don't make excuses. I believe that Gordonsville and Watertown does more with what they got than any other team. Coach Dillard in my opinion is the best coach in the region. Coach Webster has learned a lot from Coach Robinson and Coach Winfree (when he was at Watertown) and is getting better each year. Overall in the region some teams are better some are not and it makes for a great finish.
  5. This is a tough region whether up, down or sideways. Friendship and Trousdale hasn't shown the dominence like they have in the past. Gordonsville was supposed to be the favorite. Watertown still doesn't get respect even though they have beaten Trousdale and the defending Kentucky 2A state champs. Monterey will always play you tough. It's down to crunch time, every game counts.
  6. Unless things have changed, the assistant coaches do all the field work and they do a great job.
  7. TC usually has good teams, however this year they couldn't beat the owls even if Big Al was SC's quaterback. every team goes through good runs and bad. I remember the '98 TC team beating Monterey 99-0 with Payne still playing in the 4th quarter. What comes around goes around.
  8. Franklin County is going to have to control the ball and things of that nature. They need to minimize turnovers and capitalize on Warren County's mishaps and things of that nature. There is a lot at stake and things of that nature. FC by 10 and things of that nature.
  9. I saw Trousdale County at a passing league camp this summer at Tech and to be brutally honest, was one of the worst teams there. That being said if you have a great ground game then you don't need to throw the ball. As far as the intimidation factor is concerned, that went out the window after last year's loss. The only thing I know is that Coach Satterfield will have TC ready and Coach Webster will have the Purple Tigers ready for a good showdown behind the hedge.
  10. Watertown doesn't have the biggest players or the fastest players however they do have players with heart and pride. I believe that Watertown does more with less than any other team in the region.
  11. Way down in the valley, I heard a mighty roar.
  12. Should be a good game but I will give the edge to Watertown. I believe their key players are Fountain, Eaton and Phillips.
  13. I think it is going to be a tough year for the rebels. They are lacking in the skill position and not very deep. If they can get more athletes to play they would be competitive. They need leadership on the offensive side of the ball and need Stovall and Miller to step up and play like they are capable.
  14. New coach but same Franklin County players. They have some good athletes but they are soft and they still make excuses. They don't know how to work hard. t-town by 3 tds
