What a whale of a game is all I gots to say... GP took advantage of some Eagle errors in the first to take an early lead... Gibbs hit the ball hard all game and Goodpasture found a way to keep runners on base most innings... And the 7th inning O-man...GP puts 2 on and ends up scoring 1 before Gibbs shut them down. Big turning point in the game. Verry verry verry good game to watch. Wishing safe play to all the teams still in!!! BTW... I'm poasting this from the airport with Vegas ticket in hand.

Yipp-eee.... 2 more winning picks. If I get this next one correct I'm boarding a plain to Vegas. Gibbs v/s Goodpasture. History and tradition on both sides. These 2 teams account for almost 25 state championships. Should b a great game to watch. Gonna have to go with the Eagles on this one. They have allowed 0 runs thus far in the tournament. GP has put some runs on the board but they have allowed runs as well.

Gonna give this one to GP, returning state champs. I still look for CAK to test them. Gibbs v/s White House. These 2 faced off once this season and Gibbs came away with the Win. Both teams hit well in the first round so pitching and defence should decide this one.

WOW! Almost 24 hours and no one has taken the bait? Aight then here goes mine. Game 1 - GP over East Hamilton Game 2 - CAK over Chester Co Game 3 - White House over Lexington Game 4 - Gibbs over Upperman I havent been able to watch all the teams that made it to satate in AA this year but ill go out on a limb and say Goodpasture v/s Gibbs for winners final. CAK will surprise some teams and could be the sleeper. Lets hope for good weather & safe play for all involved. Should be some good games to watch next week!

Thunder 93 beat Chattanooga Fury 94 2 times with the score of 3-1 to win the berth out of the loosers bracket. Does anyone know who put Thunder into the loosers bracket? The bracket wasnt filled out completly the last time I checked. That seems to be a pattern this year. A Fury team being beaten twice by a team out of the loosers bracket. Thunder 93 also has an ex-college coach on the field.

Nashville Crusiers was the other Nashville team I could not think of. How many of thoes players are 16u for summer? Did Germantown have 2 teams in the TN Fall Exposure? I was thinking from the Championship Game that Germantown won out over the Athletics in that pool. I didnt get a chance to look at the results of the Germantown v Athletics game. There was a great turnout of teams and coaches and the weather was great but you cant base it all on a showcase tournament with drop dead/revert back rules. Scores dont always reflect what a team can or can not do when a win means everything or a berth to nationals is on the line. It still should be interesting to see all the above mentioned teams fight it out for 4 berths.

You forgot about the Fury out of Chattanooga who have qualified for ASA Nationals the past 4 years I think it is and the 2 teams out of Knoxville that qualified as first year 16u teams last season. 16u TN Fury (Chattanooga) Knoxville Thunder 93 Force - Knoxville Fury - Mustangs - Lady Aces - Synergy will be fighting it out for the final 2 TN Berths. There is also 1 other team out of Nashville that will be in the running, but I cant think of there name at this time. Germantown Red Devils will make the trip again this year but they will get there berth from the Memphis Metro Qualifier if a Cally team dont steal the berth again this year.

Thunder 93 over Synergy (Synergy is from the Mid TN area I think) Worth beat Thunder 93 in the championship to win there Berth. Congradulations to Team Worth!!! Is there anyone that watched this game care to comment on what wet on. Going on the last time these two teams met I was expecting a knock down drag out battel. Thanks.

Wish I could get down to Chattanooga to see these two teams play this weekend. I was in Hendersonville when Worth & Thunder played 8-9 innings I tink it was before Worth won in ITB. One of the best games I have seen in a long time. Both looked evenly matched and with a few months together they both will have only got better. Athletics, Predators & Firebirds could put up a good fight but I still see Worth or Thunder 93 getting there berth. Its a shame thoes two have to meet so early in bracket play. I would say that Team Worth and Knoxville Thunder 93 stand the best chances to grab the 2 remaining berths. I was told the 93 Thunder just missed getting there berth this past weekend in SC. After 11 games in 2 days an injury got the best of them.

Why wouldnt GP be the underdog you ask.... I cant answer that question. But acording to all the Mid TN experts when spring fling started everyone else should have just congratulated GP on their State Championship and saved alot of $$$ traveling... Again, im not a GP follower so I cant say if she pitched all the losses or not. But then again, if she is all that and a bag of chips one can only ######-ume she was pitching. Does GP even have another pitcher?

The defence & Cartwright makes GP the powerhouse that they are.

My thoughts exactly!!! However id watch out for both Cartwright's & the third baseman can be a pain to get out too. In my opinion pitching is their weakest link.
