Yes, Ive been watching Brentwood play even before i went to high school and i know them for having a tough defense year in and year out. The only reason of concern is their offense (sure the qb you mentioned who had great games as a soph but, he was surrounded by talent that helped him out) thats why i picked them so low, but in a district so competitive someone has to suffer.

Also good to hear that you guys seem to already have a replacement, Dre Frazier, for those great running backs. So does this mean the offense next year will be passing more with a junior qb with exprience (btw whats his name?) and with an inexprienced rb playing most of the snaps? Or will the patriots run the same thing? I think i heard a rumor that Centennial in Franklin is now open-zoned but im not sure.

Yes new offensive sceam, but all i can say about it is i hope we find a rb thats durable. And i dont know if this is true but i think Eubanks is both HC and DC this year, since he was dc when scott smith was HC.

Well of course they said they will be the next Riverdale its a post about Oakland football... They lost just has many seniors like Brentwood but all they could do was run the ball on offense with their two senior backs so how are they going to be just like Riverdale?

Sorry bout the weight room numbers but Independence first varsity season was 2005 and their first win was a againist Coulmbia Central, and they havent played Ensworth since then. I think maybe you were mistaken for a jv game because i know each year our jv plays Ensworth.

If you want my evaluation, i totally agree with FranklyMyDear. 2-2 or 3-1 Siegal has average talent, Oakland lost pretty much their whole offense with losing the two senior running backs, Brentwood is iffy i dont know how they will replace the starters from last years two loss season and be just as strong. Upside for them its at their turf, and as all eagle fans know we've never won at their house. And of course MBA duh... Loss we've never beat them, or a private team period.

No doubt Hillsboro will be hurt with STILL no head coach, especially with spring practice and scrimmages! That will deffintly hurt them if they hire someone outside the system. Now when you mention the Raptors, they have a lot fire power on offense, if you refer to my statement earlier on this thred, but their defense is a question mark to me.

Yea now that i look back on this topic, and it did get ridculous. So lets talk about 2009, not 2008, or 2007. Now refuring back to the post earlier about the prediction about Indys upcoming season, a loss to siegel? Who do they have other than that wide reciever March Gooch? They were 5-6 last year and 6-4 the year before. And Levernge, give them a win there? Are we really going to be that bad? Come on. I know Brentwood really hasnt had a bad season since like '05 but think about it, Brentwood is going to be in a rebuilding year (correct me if im wrong) with losing a lot of seniors, and could be very venurable to anyone this season.

Not much but i do know they have 7 seniors who signed letters of intent for Divsion 1 schools, like Eric Berry to UT. And according their past records they always seem to have athletic player no matter how many players are leaving. So they could finish anywhere from 1st to 4th is how i see it. But im sure if you ask the guys on the Hillsboro thred they will tell ya some names. And about r'wood, true they have so much talent and wisdom on offense with their offensive cord. being the new head coach. But what about the other side of the ball? Do they have the wisdom, talent and leadership on defense? The new head coach wont be there long if he cant learn to opperate a defense, im not saying he wont be able to but im just saying they could be a little shaky on defense. I say the raptors can finish anywhere from 3rd to 5th next year.

Umm... Yea no, not lack of knowledge or denial at all. I happen to have been at the scrimmage, our starting qb played only a few snaps during the whole game, including our starting safety, #1 db, and starting center/linebacker. (Ty Stannard, Tyerone Sheppard, and Thomas Berry in that order). Plus i have the offensive cord. as a teacher, he said to us it was 14-7 and we lost. So it isnt denial, and no im not going to say we played only 2nd string againist Centennial either, thats just stupid. I just think its funny how page people has nothing better to say than we 'beat' you in a scrimmage.

Its also like in college football with Utah and Bama playing last year, i heard so many bama fans saying oh man we have this wrapped up! First BCS Bowl win for Saban! Not the case. Plus i totally agree with Page having a better TEAM than indys last year. Page had a balanced team, and Indy had star power (or some what of it). P.S- The scrimmage that page 'won' we had our 2nd strings in most of the snaps like 80% of the time. I think its funny that Page's highlight of the year was 'beating' Indy in a scrimmage game (jv vs. varsity), and beating centennial.

Thats about how much i know and i think they have a wide out with the last name fitzgerald who started last year, and is returning. And thats why people like me and most people who go to Indys games know that experience is a huge key for them to win a lot next year. Its not every year when you have a team with 42 returning players, 27 seniors, and with three seniors having already two years of starting exprience on the varsity level; QB Alex Heckmen, WR/S/K Ty Stannard, and DL/OL Dalton Burge.

Plus can anyone tell me what the rebs non-district schedule? Or do they not have all the games filled out?

Wow, way to put words in my mouth, go back and read that statement and see if i ever put 'the qualifications for a strength & conditioning coach are...' I just said that its good that they hired a new strengthing coach, and he just happened to be really ripped and the student pastor. And its only been how many weeks since they have started strength training? A couple right? you expect an 16-18 year old to go from lifting 250 straight to 300, or squating 350 in a couple of weeks? Its not like they are on steriods, you guys are looking for results and improvements that will probably wont happen untill May or June in the month of April? Oh my bad, the bball coach is coach henrie. Im not talking about coach/ad jones. And no what i was saying, for like the 3rd time, is that the reason why dr. c fired henrie is bcause he could not produce in the post season, and i hope he just doesnt hire a coach is who is all about winning and not about helping these young men grow up, which coach henrie did.

Another thing to look out for is that say a team from east TN makes their championship game do you think more poeple from that school and town would go if it was in west TN or middle TN? obvivously middle TN, so then it will might have a drop in attenndance if it was placed in west or east TN. So i think TSSAA will look at both money and best location. I say the best Cities are (if they give required money) Chattanooga Murfreesboro Nashville Cookeville Chattanooga is very interesting, both hosting FCS National Championship and the attractions. But if Nashville was picked i think it would be at Vandy, the tssaa championships were perviously played at Vandy before MTSU.

Ignorant bumbs meaning coaches who are only interested in winning and dont care about relating to the players. Dr. C pretty much fired coach jones because he couldnt win in the offseason in the past 3-4 years. A lot of players were upset after he was fired. I was just saying hopefully he wont hire someone who will only be a coach to them and not a mentor like coach jones was.
