Good luck to DeKalb this year.. Central Magnet will have a lot of talent this year, and I am sure LA will bring a hard fought game like usual to the district..should be some good games around the district. I think DeKalb still has it in for a 3rd consecutive District Championship.

DeKalb fell to Notre Dame 4-0 ending a 8 win streak..Notre Dame was well coached and had great play. DC had several opportunities. DeKalb had a history making season knocking of LA 1-0 and 4-0, claiming the district championship for the first time, And hosting region.DC Ends with a remarkable 14-2-3 record. Great season for the tigers. Im definately gonna miss being on the field. On a side note.. Anyone know the score of CCS vs FC? DC#10

Notre Dame 4 DeKalb 0..2-0 at half. DC had several chances but couldnt find the back of the net.. Notre Dame is a well coached team with great talent. Good luck in the rest of post season.

DeKalb 14 York 0 in the first round of district tournamant. Dekalb plays the winner of livingston/jackson tomorrow at DeKalb in the 2nd round.

For the past few years its been very close games. Dekalb has inched closer an closer losing to LA in season last year 1-0 and 2-1 in double OT in the tournament.. This was the first DeKalb has ever beatin LA. It was a bittersweet victory for DeKalb and a huge milestone and im proud to have been a part of it. Congratualtions Coach K. You deserved it. Dekalb plays york monday and LA plays jackson o monday. If DC and LA win, DeKalb will host LA for the second round of the District Tournament.

Our coach was not talking to fc players? he did point out that number 15 was not on the roster but it was in no intent to get fcs coach carded..coaches talked after the game. Usually refs just change the number and move on with the game.. i never heard coach yelling at any players. ever. besides his own of course..

Dekalb 2 Fc 2.. bad pk call(ball hit the players hand that didnt play the ball..not on purpose..and even went to the other team) and last minute goal tied the game for fc..DC shoulda scored more. Ballwatcher was you at the game? what did you think

Cannon seemed to have more will for the game in preseason. more than previous years..and no cookeville is putnam county. Cookeville cavaliers.. Livingston wildcats. Cookeville is in the 3a district with warren, white.. etc. Dekalb travels to franklin co tomorrow. Should be a great tournament. anyone know the score of the livingston and smith co game?

York changed a lot from the previous years..they usually come out fighting and at least put up a fight. Dekalb got our first lost tonight 4-0 at Cookeville. The field was flooded and very slick.. Cookeville had great first touches and passed the ball well. gl at cheatham FC

Grats FC. York doesn't seem to have the competitiveness they usually have. I think they lost some key players last year an just lost all motivation. Looks like its gonna be a fight for the District. Dekalb travels to cookeville tonight.

Another team added to district 8AA this year from murfressburo, Central Magnet. Last year Friendship from lebanon was put in our disrict an ended up winning the district championship. DeKalb Co, Livingston Academy, York Insitute, Smith County, Jackson County, Cannon County, Central Magnet, and Friendship Christian.So much for a first round bye come district tourny. May be a little early, but based from the returning teams, any thoughts? early predictions? Any imput to get things going?

DeKalb 0 ND 10 Should be a good game at LA. Any ND fans going, apparently Vuvuzelas are illegal at Livingston Games. We had some at the Dekalb and LA final game and some one.. cough .. Had them announce it couldnt be blown? Had a police make the announcement and talk to the fans. One of the refs said it was fine.. we had them at a recent district game(Smith co) and blew them non stop with no concern what so ever. (Except irritated parents from our own school
