I heard the same thing about McIntyre redandblack. If the Knox County teams did forfeit it wouldn't work either. Lenoir City vs. Oak Ridge Heritage wins by forfeit of Halls Maryville wins by forfeit of Karns Then you have Bearden vs. Central which both are in Knox County. IMPEACH McINTYRE!!!!!!!!!!

I'm ok with the Halls coach coaching the girls instead of the boys tomorrow night! Lol

Not complaining. The games could have been played Friday night.

I wish they would have let the games be played out. I have no conspiracy theories but these young men should have had a chance to play for position instead of it being handed out. Teams get hot in tournaments and it is unfortunate that a hot team cannot play for a district tournament title. Especially if it's the first one in school history. Oh well leave it up to the TSSAA to screw something good up! Go Mountaineers!

This might sound crazy. I think the Alcoa game could be interesting this year. That game last year was fun to watch. With Tyson gone and Rankin coaching I think that one might be close . Of course it is January and there is plenty of time left before National Signing Day. Lol

I was certain WB was gonna beat Bearden last year! Lol

I think South Doyle lost a lot of Seniors. I hear they had a pretty special freshman class this past season though. Might be able to steal one there with Heritage having a more experienced team.

Heritage will move to 5A. I am excited about some of the "new" teams we will play such as Gibbs, Powell and Halls. I assume we still keep WB, Maryville and Alcoa on the schedule. I was upset that our region only has 6 teams. As far as travel this region is great for us!

When are the region's announced?

I feel like this game might be a little closer than you think. Should be fun to watch! This Mountaineer team only has 9 or 10 seniors so their better years are ahead of them.
