  1. I saw that Camden is the only quality win on Covington's schedule, who pitched for Camden in that game? How many Quality wins does Creek Wood have? Hmmm let me see. Goodpasture, Lexington, Camden, Maryville, Coffee County. Will have some more quality opponents next weekend in Cornersville, Sequatchie County, and Coffee County again.
  2. close relative? I don't even know who ISTHATRIGHT is. I'm not sure what act your talking about either but i am very curious about it. Oh and Creek Wood defeated Waverly tonight thanks to a grand slam by Brook Jenkins in the top of the 7th to put Creek Wood up 7 to 4. final 7-5
  3. Maybe you could enlighten us on what ISTHATRIGHT has to hide

  5. I'm sorry that soddy is so much better than everyone their playing, but i saw two games this past weekend that were very close and had homeruns that either tied or won the games to me thats exciting and i expect to see more games like that when it gets into the regionals and beyond
  6. From what i have seen balls are being hit harder. This rule change was made to protect pitchers but i think it has made it more dangerous for pitchers especially the lesser pitchers. Other than that i really like the increase in scoring. it really makes the games more exciting.
  7. i feel the Cruisers need to be in this discussion and will be by the end of summer. They beat the fury, chatt force, and lady aces in one tournament. Two of those wins came without one of their better hitters and pitchers.
  8. I belive the Nashville Cruisers will gain a berth in the 16u as they beat three of the teams on your list (Force, Thunder, and Lady Aces) this fall.
  9. Maybe it was because Creek Wood's offense is extremely tough to stop. Creek Wood runs the same offense as Georgia Tech and there haven't been many people to stop them either. To stop Creek Wood a defense has got to be very disciplined the entire game. If a player misses his assignment just once it could be a big play.
  10. Pages Defense is pretty good. Quick, Physical, and sworm to the ball. What about Creek Woods D CW has been knocking heads this year...they have intensity that they have been missing the last couple of seasons...you take away camden's QB and CW wins big against them... first CW alumni with 1000 posts...hold your applause please... Seems like that baseball player still has too much time on his hands
  11. i dont know what CW team you played against but they have had some pretty fast guys pretty much every year... bulldog the only thing i have heard of page's D is that its pretty good...havent heard terrible or bad once I believe he is talking about the 06 year. Creek Wood didn't have the speed they have the speed they have now. Creek Wood was a more power team and had the players to run that type of offense. Now they still have the power and more speed.
  12. I heard that some baseball player who sat the bench found that "R"
  13. This game should be a good measuring stick for Cheatham. Creek Wood will probably put in their younger players as the game goes. When that happens it will be like Creek Wood and Cheatham's teams next year. That will show the young players on both sides how much harder they will have to work during the offseason.
  14. The district is weak by most standards - Creek Wood has been a real surprise this season and they should be congratulated for beating Camden for the District Title on the road. Camden will do some damage in the 3A playoffs for at least a couple of rounds and possibly more. Other than those 2 teams I would be shocked if there were any W's coming in the postseason. How many 3rd and 4th place teams go deep in the playoffs? They are going to be matched up with 1 and 2 seeds from other districts. Other than Camden and Dickson, I worry that Creekwood hasn't been challenged for a 4A playoff run. I do hope they can represent the district and wish them the best of luck. The rest will depend upon matchups. Personally, I wish Harpeth could play East Robertson and Fairview again. The Indians laid an egg in both of those games and got better, particularly on defense as the season progressed. Reminds me of the old district when Fairview started out struggling against a tough schedule and won their last 4 to get into the playoffs and won a first round game. Playoffs are a new season. Once you get in, it's about getting a favorable matchup and advancing. I guess your saying Camden wasn't a challenge. Being challenged usually means facing adversity. This team has faced adversity. Going most of the season without a running back you expected to lean on, being a part of teams that went 3-7, 5-6, and 1-9, and not to mention that when the senior class was in middle school they didn't have very good seasons I would call that being challenged. This team has worked extremely hard to get to the level they are on and they will not let anything prevent them from where they want to be.
  15. I look for Bell to get quite a few carries this game. He's been out a while and the coaches probably want to get him back in tune with the offense. Odom was a little banged up after the Camden game. I look for him to play very little if he plays at all. Hooper will stay out there to try to get more in sync with Bell and depending on if Lee is healthy may play into the third quarter. I feel the linemen will play to halftime at least maybe longer. Most of the starters will play at least til the half.
  16. Great game. Hope when we play next year the same stakes are on the line. #12 is a player. Without him Creek Wood wins by at least two touchdowns. The defense had trouble tackling him all night. My favorite play of the night is when Bell got hit hard in the backfield and everyone thought he had the ball then Hooper runs it in for a touchdown. Creek Wood's offense played one of their best games of the season in the biggest game of the season so far. Everyone who touched the ball ran hard. It is going to take that kind of effort and less mistakes to get to Murfreesboro. Good luck to both teams in the playoffs.
  17. Getting closer to game time. Can't wait to make the trip to camden. Should be a good and loud crowd.
  18. Camden's linebackers and secondary have the ability to step up and play big when the game is on the line. I expect them to play really well this friday. it will be really hard for Creek Wood to get big plays. Camden's defense will continuously force them into 3rd down situations. If Creek Wood can pull out a win in this game they will have to play mistake free football. They cannot have costly penalties or turnovers.
  19. I never said Camden's offense didn't depend on cuts. I just said Creek Wood's did and it hurt them not being able to make the cuts.
  20. quote]i dont know how the fields were everywhere else last friday, but Montgomery central's field was terrible...before anyone even stepped on the field you could look across it and see standing water and mud. i think i credited the mud with about twenty tackles for each team that game...like i said i dont know how bad the other fields were, but last week that was the nastiest field ive ever seen a game played on. i heard from one of Cheatham's coaches that their field was worse than Central's
  21. Creek Wood is just as "battle tested" as Camden. Neither team has played a strong schedule. I actually feel Creek Wood is more "battle tested". Creek Wood's past two games have been struggles because of the field conditions. They had to get away from what they normally did and still won both games. Creek Wood has faced some adversity this year with the absence of what was supposed to be their star player. Others have stepped up to the challenge and played well. Creek Wood also remembers the 1-9 season they had last year. Creek Wood's offense will give Camden's defense a lot of headaches. They have different formations and lots of plays for Camden to prepare for. I don't see Camden being able to contain Creek Wood's run game or stop the passing game consistently. It will be extremely tough for Creek Wood's defense to contain Camden's speed. I do think Creek Wood will be able to slow Camden down enough to get the victory and district title. Field condition was bad everywhere dude. yeah but Creek Wood's offense relies on the ability to make cuts and you can't do that with bad field conditions.

  23. well what impressive wins does camden have? Valid question - I guess I'm just a west Tennessee homer. I really think Camden in 3A is just better than the 4A teams in District 11 well i guess we'll find out if your right friday.
  24. at the time yes - but there seasons have proven to be average well what impressive wins does camden have?
  25. Greenbrier and Fairview were impressive wins at the time.
