yes, the other 3 non-west tennessee double-A teams are very capable i'm sure and triple-AAA Walker Valley is good i'm sure since they have 1400 students to choose from i just think it's West TN year

one thing i learned tonite...these are the best two AA teams in the state so next week these two just have to beat 5 other AA teams and one AAA team to reach the finals to play again

i'm counting out two of those saturday and then two more in state quarters

i believe brown is the best player of the three unfortunately...she missed most of the season and that should cost her the award...she can win it next year if she stays healthy no one in any sport wins POY or MVP awards missing as much a % of the year as brown did - it has never happened before so if she wins it would be a first thomas is better than bellamy but bellamy's team beat thomas's 3 times, so it' a tossup depending on how the committe views that i'd give it to thomas because her supporting cast is not as good so you can't fault her team don't know how dudley doesn't make this list as she is better than bellamy and thomas and as good as brown

yeah, after watching CC play last week, i don't know how Laru got them to state last year so let's see, you have The Wiz of Westview and Guru Laru on the same bench... hmm... yeah i definitely think Paige runs the show up there, she'll call the flip, and lead the gold ball home to martin now the real question is how important is it to win the district championship game? it looks like we have 3 teams in the "upper echelon" - OC, WV, GC and the rest - CC, DC, Hay, Cov assuming they finish 1,2,3 in the dist. tourney doesnt that put the dist. tourney runnerup opposite of the other two in the region? or has that format changed? seems to me the dist. tourney loser is in a better shape in the region as those teams down there got hit very hard by graduation someone correct me if i'm wrong about region seedings

it's true, i think this game is for 3rd and 4th in the district obion has already whooped westview and crockett has already whooped gibson obion and crockett are both undefeated in district play and for further proof that it wasn't a fluke - obion beat upperman who beat westview; crockett beat humboldt TWICE who beat gibson TWICE i know the thread is about gc-w but he was just trying to put it in perspective this game is big but not what is used to be the last couple years in 13aa it could be for simple seeding for the do or die games while crockett and obion get the byes that being said i pick gibson because of rebounding in a small upset
