Coach Hunter is one of the best..........forgive GCPioneer, he gets sort of narrow-minded sometimes. Just remember, that "home cooking" occurs both ways big boy. I have seen that happen to the visiting Region 7 team for many years regardless of who it is. That is just part of it and why it is so important to win your region.

I think you are suggesting that AAU is down and I agree to some extent, but if you compare the number of TN teams going to Nationals this year to last year. I don't think there was that large of a difference but I could be wrong, as I'm wrong alot.

Talked to the Rhodes mens coach last Tuesday.......I actually think I might have a tape coming of ole McMillan in action......putting it on Ebay as a fundraiser. Congrats to Ashley, hopefully she can help get the Memphis program turned around.

GC......don't get your hopes up just yet. Marshall County is the favorite to repeat, watched them at camp and they have better athletes than anyone else in AA. If Lauren March stays injury-free, they will be tough to beat.

Some of them did, one of them had her and decided to do something different and I'll leave it at that. She is the most complete player that has come through West Tennessee in any class in some time and she will be a force in the Big Ten that is for sure. Even better though is that she is a tremendous kid off the court. She has been though alot and has kept her head on straight through it all and now her hard work has paid off for her in the form of a scholarship to Purdue. All I know is the one that was sent from NW TN - Ronald Ward is one of the best we have up here. Made a great call in AAA championship game as TV confirmed shot at the end of regulation was after time expired. Sure he blew some too but he was one of the best of the week no doubt. The gentleman who called the GC game and the AA championship is an absolute disgrace to the profession. Not saying anything about who won or loss, but he was the most inconsistent of the week. This system also needs to be reviewed because for some reason we are not getting the best refs at the state tournament. I can't wait until next week to see if the boys is any better.

Whoever wins Wednesday has a great chance to bring home a gold ball.........whoever loses has to go to BTW and that game will be a toss up. Very difficult place to play and BTW has the tools to guard either team 13AA can send down there.......I would love to see 2 13AA teams in the 'boro, but it is going to be a lot tougher than most folks on here think..........

Griffin made the all-district team (regular season).......

The Tennessee Wings will host an AAU Super Regional Tournament for ages 12 through Jr. Eligible (5 age groups) on March 28 - 30, 2008. We will be playing in the Elam Center and Skyhawk Fieldhouse on the UT-Martin campus as well as Westview High School in Martin, TN.
