James Garmany of Rhea County is my pick. He is the best defensive player I've seen all year. He leads the area in steals, is high on the list in assists, and has been in double figures in rebounds and scoring in every game this season. All this without getting into foul trouble. He also is very good at drawing charges. Plus, he is in good enough condition to go the full 32 without getting tired!

Here are just some of the expenses a coach has: insurance for players, referees, light bill @ stadium, pre game meals, post game meals, tape, pre wrap, all medical supplies, workers at the stadium, field marking paint, all accessories like snaps, buttons, clips for shoulder pads and helmets, bus travel to away games, money for fertilizer for the fields, video equiptment to watch and breakdown film, grease boards and pens, 35-45 dollars a helmet to have them reconditioned each year to keep up with rules, 125 dollars per helmet to buy new, 100-200 dollars for new shoulder pads, practice pants, practice jerseys, hip, knee, and thigh pads, belts , girdles, on and on and on there is always something, money for weight room!!!

RHea vs Baylor they did not move the ball they just ran 8 plays a series each from the 30 yd line. Baylor looked impressive. Rhea was not bad either for the first scrimmage. Garmany looked good at qb for Rhea. Rhea and baylor both played a lot of kids.

I am sure they were in the quarters the last 2 years. Lost at Maryville both years. Beat Powell and East Ridge on the road last year. Beat Anderson Co. by 40 and Won at Knox Central the year before to get to the Quarters. Beat Cleveland 2 out of the last three years. So they won the region 3 years ago and have played longer than anyone in their region the last 2 years. So what if they lost to Boyd the first game of the year. In high school football it's not how you start it is how you finish!
