  1. I have just one thing to say-----101 yards in penalties for White County!!!!. Most of these were personal fouls. Do you think we could just for once play a game without all that garbage? I believe we could have been 8-2 if not for the penalties. It cost us the game last night.
  2. I've seen both teams play and I really don't see Cumberland staying with Siegal.
  3. 37-16 pickett 3:00 to go in 2nd
  4. If I'm not mistaken White County gym holds about 2500--maybe a few more. All bottom sits are reserved--so don't make me ask you to move.
  5. It will. You better get there early unless you've got reserved seats.
  6. Henry for White County Reddus and Stewart for Cookeville I think that was it--there may have been some others.
  7. I think 90 is the year he graduated and he is not on the team. I am VERY sure the team does not share his views.
  8. What a game! Great job, Warriors, you never gave up. John Gribble adds a punch an already good team. If they play team ball like they did tonight the last three quarters---look out 7AAA!
  9. I'm sorry Oakland but I have to disagree with you on this. I think Oakland had no answer White County's 2-3 defense. How many three's did Oakland make? I really think the difference in the game was White County's poor shooting behind the three-point arch. I believe they were 0 of 12. If they shoot 25% we have a different story. However, you know what the old coach always said about ifs and buts. Kudos to Oakland. You better bring your "A" game to White County.
  10. White County, TN 64 White County, GA 35 Molly McFaddin MVP. Keela Henry and Joni Simpson -all tourney.
  11. The Tennessee Warriorettes won the championship tonight. The score on the scoreboard is incorrect. I inadvertently put the boy's score in. I will get it corrected when I get the correct score. Molly McFaddin was selected MVP.
  12. Warriors of Tennessee wins 73-53. Corey Crain and Ryan Qualls made all-tournament. As I understand it, Qualls came up big tonight. The MVP award was given to the entire team. The committee said they could not decide on a single player. This is a great confidence boost for the Warriors. Great job guys!
  13. Warriorettes 57, Fannin Co., GA 32. Warriorettes play tomorrow in championship against White County, GA.
  14. White County 59, Union County, GA 49. Taylor 13, Clark 11, Cloyd 9. Daniels did not play. Both Qualls and Holman saw limited action due to a virus. Warriors play White County, GA (also the Warriors) tomorrow for the championship. Good Luck, Warriors!
  15. Agree with you bb, it took me three and a half hours of non-stop, hard driving to get there Monday. I went for the Monday games and came back because I had to work Tuesday. I will say that it is one of the prettiest towns that you will find. The town is surrounded by Lake Chatuge and you see the highest point in Georgia from the from the steps of the high school. Very, very beautiful.
  16. Warriors and Warriorettes both advance to the championship. I will post scores when I get them.
  17. Check modified message. I was going by memory on the first one. Taylor was high scorer with 16 or 17 points.
  18. The Warriorettes won by 5 (58-53). The Warriorettes play the winner of Polk Co., TN and Fannin Co., GA tomorrow at 4:00 (EST). The Warriors won by 11 (74-63). Seth Daniels did not play. He turned and ankle in warm-ups. White County had the size on this team and held a comfortable 8 to 10 point lead through out the game. The Warriors play the winner of Polk Co., TN and Union Co., GA tomorrow at 5:30 (EST).
  19. White County is about 90 miles east of Nashville just south of Cookeville
  20. The ABA franchise Nashville Rhythm has scheduled a game at White County High School on New Year's Eve. Former Warrior Kyle Gribble plays for the Rhythm. I am just curious as to what kind of crowd to expect. Does anyone plan on going?
  21. Better come to play against Oakland or you might get Shelbyville earlier than you think.
  22. She's going be the girl's coach at Segal the new high school in Murfreesboro.
  23. I seen you play against White County in the Shootout, in both the district and region finals against LA, and Friday against Chester. I knew you had a very good team and had a chance to win it all. I think I speak for the majority of White County fans in saying congratulations on a great season and your four-peat.
  24. Chris Ferguson, UT assistant was at the Portland-Lipscomb game tonight watching someone. I did not make it in time for that particular game but came in just before the Upperman-York game and met him as he was leaving. I will not be able to make it to tomorrow night's game but I heard that this guy is the real deal.
