This ought to be a very good game. I can't wait for the opening tipoff, to be able to see two very exciting teams. I believe homecourt advantage will be the key. I also want to say that Giles County is peaking at the right time, when someone has an off night, two to three other players pick up the slack. Lastly no matter what happens, I personnaly have enjoyed the ride and look forward to the drive to the Boro. You can't get excitement for this price anywhere. _____also I encourage all Giles County Fans to become a Plus Member.... $12 well spent...

I agree. The Tennessean is so hung up on the Titans, and the Predators, which I do support both, that they can't give any coverage to an teams outside of the Nashville area. Even the coversge of the Nashville is mediocre at best. I guess if and when mid state schools make it to the state they will be bandwagon juumpers themselves.Just to give an example,and this may sound trivial, but a list of the final boys stats was posted and it did not include any Giles county stats. I know that this may not seem like a big deal, but they had the information. Also, when the Lawrence County Girls won the state, virtually no coverage untill the championship game. Come on Tennessean, you have alot of patrons outside of Nashville . I was glad to see that I am not the only one who has noticed this. Thank goodness For COACHT. [Edited by 480vac on 3-10-03 10:08A]

I would have to agree with a couple of the other posts that Tristen Fletcher is the most underrated player in the state. He has a very smooth jumper, can shoot the three,and he is also an outstanding rebounder and defensive player. He is often overlooked. But several times this year when a play had to be made, he was there. Congratulations Tristen on the MVP and finally getting some well deserved recognition.

Well "flap lips who don't know jack". Did you say you go to Cow, oops I mean Goodpasture. Man y'all have had some great atheletes up there. Ron Mercer, Drew Maddux, that was a great team. Wait, didn't Giles County beat that team? I mean that was awhile ago though.

I haven't seen him play, but I would have to disagree with you. There may be better sophomores than Tyler Smith, but they are not in Tennessee. But I am sure Little is a great player anyway.

I thought Loretto did a pretty good job staying in the game the first three quarters. Tyler was pretty much triple teamed the whole game, and Loretto did a good job of collapsing their defense on Tyler when he got the ball. But Giles county has a very well balanced team .Good job Loretto. I look forward to tomorrow night's Game . No matter who we play. We had real balanced scoring and good defense. Congratulations to Shay, Tristen, and the rest of the Cats on a good win. Now about the crowd. I go to a ball game to watch the game..... I don't care what the crowd does, says, wears , how they sit or anything else. I see nothing wrong with students getting into the game, (as long as profanity is left out). So everybody crying about poor sportsmanship, get over it. Watch the game. You are denying yourselves of some quality entertainment, not to mention, not giving your full support to the atheletes on whichever team you happen to support, by worrying about what the other teams fans are doing. I am a Bobcats fan. I beleive that they have a good enough team to go far in, if not win they state. Having said that, I surely hope that they play every game as if it's their last. On any given night, anyone can be beat. On paper, Giles county should cruise, but the game is not played on paper. Remember Columbia overlooking Shelbyville before they played us. It can happen. It would be an interesting matchup. I would really love to see it, hopefully. I guess all us fans get to do all the talking, while the players do the hard part. It sure is great having some awsome talent, and a great team to represent you!! GO BOBCATS!!!
