They cyclones will need to make sure they stay on task. The most important game is the next one SHHS is in the past now. When I was in school and we beat SHHS its easy to stay on that high and get a little cocky. I know coach witten will keep them on task though!!! I would say she keeps Misty. Misty played at TTU and can help her out with the transition to TTU and also help out with the High school coaches.

I saw Dye last year she is really skilled and a solid player. What DI schools have offered her!?

I think around 70 is a good number since this job opened up so late. I know at smaller schools like DII or NAIA they will have over 100 plus applacations but everybody willl apply for those. I think TTU is a great job and in the past TTU paid around 85,000 plus. The kicker with TECH is the camps you can make around 20,000 to 30,000 in camps also. They will get a good coach and if that list is correct those all are very good coaches. I dont think they could go wrong in any of those coaches. The short list looks pretty promising.

Good job to the Cyclones and Coach Witten! I played with him in 95-99. We had some great teams in that time! Etown was very good in the late 90's! if not for the team in Knoxville (Maryville) the clones could have had 3 gold rings instead of the silver rings I got. GREAT job to my boy Shawn in bringing the pride back! good luck!

The Mountaineers claimed their first ever tournament championship when they won the Midway Holiday Classic on Saturday. Junior post Charlie Hardwick had 15 points and senior wing Michael Haynes added 14 as Heritage defeated Claiborne 62-43 for the title. Haynes connected with back-to-back 3-pointers to extend the Mountaineers' lead to 15 in a key second-half run. Heritage hit a total of nine 3-pointers with Jordan Marzec accounting for four." One thing the Hill needs to think about is SHAWN WITTEN. He Killed SH as a player every year. From his freshman year blocking kicks inter.... passes to making great catches and most of all scoring touchdowns. He is the most competative person I have every played with from high school to college and he loves playing the hill. His senior year he scored on a catch, a run, a pass, punt return, 2-INTs. If he can get the passion of the way he played into his players this week look out. in this game put away play makers becuase the play makers in this game will by the guys that play with passion for this great game. Shawn is a "Hill Killer" and if he can get that in his players Etown will win. SHHS- 21 Etown- 24
