Hunters Lane is known for their speed and running game. Thats their forte. Their passing game has come into play this year alot more...by moving into the shotgun. Defense needs work..the basics of tackling mainly. Had alot of problems with that against Maplewood and Overton. Contained Holt from Maplewood in the first half....but couldnt in the second. Cant stop a good offense with arm tackles. Just doesnt work. Special teams..as always in metro...isnt great. Kicking game mainly...hard to find a decent punter and place kicker. Yes, you can scout the soccer team for someone..but its a lot harder to kick a football in full pads than a soccer ball. HL lost their kicker to travel soccer... and I dont think they have found a replacement yet.

Springfield is a team that is going under the radar this whole season. Pulled out a close win Friday against Hunters Lane...stopping the Warriors on the 1 yard line on 3rd and 4th down to seal a victory. I see Springfield beating Beech though...SHS has a very improved defense from last year, which will carry them through the rest of the season.

I play tennis for the exercise, so a raquet is a raquet to me...but I would think the bigger the head of the raquet, the more control you would have....similar to golf. Bigger hitting area allows more control. Correct me if im wrong...im interested to hear other opinions.
