Thanks for the county support!!

This is really funny cause I am one of the parents and I don't or haven't heard of any complaining. I do know that the boys work as a team and know that they need each other to make it happen. They each contribute whether it is a lot or a little. Every postition on the team needs the next that is why its a team and not an individual sport. The gaurd might hit the runner and slow him down for the linebacker to make the tackle or the DE might get in the QB's face so he makes a bad throw so the safety intercepts it. It is a team sport and everyone needs to contribute. I believe our boys get along and are very happy when the other gets the tackle or interception so please don't get on here and make like they are fighting because they are not. They pull for each other and that is how it should be.

If you remember the Unaka Boys Basketball team did not have a great record the year that they won the State Tourney. Things just went their way when it needed to. The same thing for the Cloudland boys bball team last year. A lot of heart goes a long way. That is why I couldn't believe you said what you said. You normally are more unbiased than that. I know who you are. How is the bottle business?

I thought you were a sensible person till you said that. But then again!! I have been known to think to highly of people I don't really know.

I know the King and I even talked to him at the game. Yes he is very depressed and I am sure it is hard to get on here and get slammed but I am also sure that he is just thinking of something to say also. Don't be surprised when he does. All I know is it was a sweet victory and I loved every minute of it. The Highlanders better be glad that we didn't play all that well or the score would have been worse. A win is a win. Ghost, Cant wait till bball but the some of the Rangers will have to start later due to moving on in football. Guess Cloudland will get an early start. LOL

I hate to burst your bubble little smoker but I would have the same prediction if we would had won. Hampton is a good solid team with all kinds of weapons to throw. If your planning on stopping Adam you had better get a wall across the 50 yard line and still yet that might not stop him. And if by chance you stop him there is a truckload more of them that can pick up the slack at any time. They are all from Carter County just different schools. Just so happens that Hampton got the load of them last year and this year. Cloudland the years before that and Happy Valley has had there share. As far as me boo hooing I don't dwell on the past. We are building a football program at Unaka and that is what we are focusing on and are very proud of. Hopefully one day they will be as good as our basketball, baseball and softball teams. Like I said earlier. The score on the board don't always tell the better team.

Not only are you a sore loser you have no idea the rules of Football , Listen ding dong when team A blocks Team B's punt Team A gets the ball regardless of who comes up with it in the end , ask your top notch coaching staff up there , Oh wait yall stoppped calling him vince lombardi after he lost 2 in a row. You are right however Chop blocking is not tackling , but when the guard grabs him around the waist and the center cuts him not only is it holding but it's also an ILLEGAL chop block. Call me what you want but that don't change the way the game went. As far as the taunting call our player just told the boy to stay down. You ran into our punter on the play that we recovered it too and they didn't call that one. And your full of poop if you are saying your player (but it was players) didn't run into our punter. As far as the holding and all of the petty stuff it goes on every game both teams. I am talking about the blatant calls. As far as #99 chop blocking is not tackling and hooking is not holding. As far as better I wouldn't go that far. Maybe even.

Book, How can you say that the refs were fine? Unaka punts the ball it bounces off of two eagles and into the hands of a Ranger, who gets the ball back? Cosby. Then Carp gets a good hit on an eagle and just because the eagle gets hurt there is an unnecessary roughness call on Carp. When Medina fumbled the ball he was clearly down and they gave the ball to once again the eagles. There were things like the right tackle moving and our man hitting him and they call it on us. They are far from better than us. If we played them again with different refs we would more then likely beat them.

You have got to be on drugs. Hampton will wipe the field with Cosby and make them feel like they are running backwards. You barely beat Unaka and you had help from the refs to do that.

I can except defeat I just can't except you putting these kids down. Well no you can't move back down just yet but you can tone down a little because everyone knows that you are supposed to be 2A. Bragging just don't sound as good from that point.

First of all Fall, there was not one Unaka Ranger on here saying that they were going to beat Hampton. All anyone was saying was that they were improved. Three of your touchdowns were at the helm of an inexperienced QB that fed the ball to your players. Second of all, the reason that Hampton looks better is because they are supposed to be a 2A school not a 1A school. The truth is the truth. If you want to brag then play in 2A where you are supposed to be and beat those teams.

Best thing I have read on these posts in a long time. There is no I in TEAM that is so so true. Good luck to Hampton till we meet again.

There is not one single Unaka Ranger football player that gets on these boards so I will say this. They do not have to take anyone out of the game nor are they practicing to. Their practices consist of the same practices they started with from the beginning of the season. The only difference is changing to the way that Hampton plays. Whoever (Hampton fan) started this childish rumor is just trying to start trouble. Coach Ensor and the Unaka Rangers would not try to deliberately hurt someone. But to lay a good hit on him, you bet your life and so would a Hampton player to a Unaka player. That is what the game is about. My main thoughts for every game is that win or lose may not one player have to get hurt.
