  1. It was a rough way to go out against a lights out Marshall Co. team, but these seniors and coach Maddux should be proud. 81-21 in the past three seasons. Not too shabby. And for those of you saying that we didnt lose with class, Coach Maddux and his team accepted their defeat and for you Maddux haters (I know they're out there) he was very well-behaved and was gracious in defeat. I know people love to hate CPA, but you can't deny that the 81-21 record backs up much of what we say regarding the basketball team. That being said, you do have 21 reasons to bring CPA down as much as you want, just remember we have 81 reasons to be proud of our team. I think that was cheesy enough. Good job Marshall Co. You deserve it for spanking our butts last night.
  2. That was last year dude. CPA wasn't foolish enough to make those shirts again.
  3. Yeah I think CPA wanted all the GC players and fans to get in wrecks and die.

    Sure. I'll say 62-54 CPA.

But everyone loves all other fans of their opponents. /dry.gif" style="vertical-align:middle" emoid=" Most of the time, fans of one team don't take a real liking to fans of the other team. I'm weird though and I love DL fans because they actually support their team and it always makes the games very exciting. So maybe I don't exactly love the fans, just the fact that they have fans and I love to hate the other fans. It's so much more fun for everybody.

The glass is half full-CPA stalled by not playing defense. Glass half empty-DL stalled by not attacking on offense. Shot clock anyone?
  7. I don't think he is acting like it is amazing, but simply stating that there are good players who have come from Tennessee and it's not deprived of talent. Obviously there is not as much talent as those other states, because Tennessee is less than half the size in population of all of those states, so it kinda makes sense that there wouldn't be as much talent here.
  8. Yeah he already had one foot out the door, and I guess you're right. Yesterday's game shows how bad of a defensive coordinator he is.
  9. Yeah it kinda stinks that UT is getting one of the greatest defensive minds in the history of football to be the new defensive coordinator, and it just so happens that it's the dudes dad which will be a great start for making the staff one that is united and "savvy".
  10. What else are we talking about besides basketball? We're comparing two BASKETBALL players. Are you implying that Jenkins might have a higher ceiling as football player or a businessman?
  11. "i love people under estimate them all day long." Proof read your posts before you post them. Your grammar needs work. Also, if a team is getting under-estimated, doesn't that mean that their team is getting NO hype. You're not really making much sense FVgf. Does that stand for "girlfriend?" Is #23 your boyfriend?
  12. He is from Milan little boy. Also, high schoolers are not taken seriously on here so get off and quit embarrassing your school.
  13. Jacketpride you are also wrong. CPA were in the same region (5-2A) for '05 and '06 only. Not "several years." It really amazes me to see people who don't know what they're talking about criticize people for not knowing what they're talking about.
  14. The '05 score was 36-14 and it was at CPA.
  15. I agree with your comment on the 2002 team. However, all of those teams you mentioned except BGA and GP were in 1A when CPA dominated them and then moved up with CPA. It sounded like you were implying that CPA was beating all teams in higher classifications. Maybe Im wrong. As far as a trip to the boro, CPA is taking it one week at a time.

  17. WE HAVE NOT PLAYED ONNNNNNNNE GAME this year at full strength. Neither has CPA until this past week. CPA will be the first team this year to see the Dawgs with their best players at all positions. Hickman Co. will be the second to see the lions in full strength. Don't think you are the only team that has suffered through injury.
  18. Not that anything really needs to be added to that but I can guarantee you that the players and coaching staff at CPA are not relaxing this week because they know how to prepare for a good football team like HC and not take them lightly. And as far as hitting you in the face, I guess we will oblige if that's what you want but like Matt610 said, that's not gonna help win the game. We prefer form tackling as opposed to head shots. This isn't boxing.

That's because Hunter Miller and David Anderson didn't play in 2 of the summer camps and Z didnt play in the first one, so CPA never had the whole team but thats a good thing. The team will be stronger than last year.
  20. This will become evident if Goodpasture is able to play Alcoa in Murfresboro again. I dont think that will happen again. You are entitled to your opinion and its respectable.
  21. So you're saying that Alcoa has had the best lineman, back, and kicker in 2A for the past 4 plus years no questions? I guarantee you if Alcoa had Benji, he would be the top back on the team. But I guess since he's on Goodpasture he's not as good as any of Alcoa's backs.
  22. Let's just make this the GP vs. CPA thread.
  23. He is on rivals and yes he will be heavily recruited
