Harriman has a good shot at going deep into the tourney!

Farragut and Halls need to watch out for Overton. They are the hottest team in the state right now!

DCA really hurt themselves by not scoring with bases loaded and no one out.

DL has a great shot at the title. It was a tough draw in the first round for both teams. I think they were two of the better teams in tourney. I thought either team could make a run.

I don't know if FC over Goodpasture was a shocker. FC has done very well this year plus they have been very hot here lately winning most of their game fairly easily. Their only losses have been against AAA schools and DivisionII except for one. I think FC, Harriman, and USJ will be the contenders for the championship!

I actually thought Harpeth had a chance in this game, and they lose. I guess I have to go against them every game for them to win. But GB is right in saying district 9AA is better from TOP to BOTTOM. In 9AA there are no push over teams. The number 5 team won the tourney. Shows how balanced the whole district is. However, in 10AA there are a couple teams you will beat every game. For example, teams like Stewart County and Cheatham County. These schools are not the best. Plus Waverly is not the same team they once were. I think at the top of the districts they were pretty close, considering both region games were really close in score. Anyways it will be good for Fairview moving back to the old district. We never wanted to leave; however, it made us a lot better.

Goodpasture is a really good team... and DCA had a lot of trouble with them this year. I picked DCA b/c they are in middle TN. USJ is in a weaker district, but USJ is still a good team. I think the only team that will give them any real trouble is probably Goodpasture, maybe Harriman. The other teams don't seem to be too much of a problem. Friendship has a great record, but hasn't played anyone real good.

I think PF will probably be the favorites. But I also know that is how Harpeth wants it!

Covington will be in the running as well as Greenbrier probably. But I wouldn't count out South Side. They made a run a few years ago.

I think DCA wins it. USJ hasn't been playing quite as well as they were at the beginning of the season. I just think DCA is playing much better here recently.

South Side is a really good team. I was shocked that they beat Loretto by so much. Lamm is an excellent pitcher. I did hear though that Loretto had a several errors. So the team that has the fewest errors will probably win. However, I pick South Side b/c they have been playing really well. Second hottest team in the state!

Covington is playing real well right now. Many people have them winning it all. I would say Loudon might have a chance but not real good. However, they play the games for a reason.

I would think it would be best to go through the southern counties. There is a highway that runs I think all the way to Memphis.

I don't know anything about PF, but I expect Harpeth to play them close. I didn't even think they would get past Regions, but they have surprised me. They have a lot of fight in them. They don't ever give up, so I think they have a chance.

When talking about one era with the next, I do believe that the talent level of some teams have dropped in the past couple years. I am more referring to district 9AA. A couple years ago when I played in it I know every teams had at least one started play at the next level and most played Division 1. Most teams had more than one pitcher go on to the next level.... Fairview, Marshall, Page, and Giles I think all had 2 pitchers play at the next level. However, now I doubt the number is nearly that good. If you look at the players going on to the next level it is down drastically from 2 years ago. I think this shows the talent level has dropped. Everyone is in the rebuilding stage and I think it will get back to that level soon, maybe.

I know for Fairview it was Luke Putnam, Zeph Wuchina, Bobby Buttrey, and Braiton Hudgins. I think that was all. I hope I didn't leave anyone out. I am pretty sure this is right.

Baseball is played between the lines, but also needs class from the fans. Some people need to realize baseball isn't life and these kid's playing careers will end.

It is a problem when fans don't know how to act. Like westtn said class is part of the game. It isn't just between the lines. Fans overstep their boundaries way too much. Have you not been watching Sportcenter?

Arguing and fights at baseball games are retarded. I was at a game tonight where there was a big fist fight. It is stupid. I am not saying it happened here b/c I wasn't there. But losing teams need not to get upset at the other fans after a loss, but winning team's fans need to keep their mouth shut and act like a win has come before. Not saying this happened here, just saying some people make too big a deal about sports!
