We tried to get a game with Scott or Northview Academy but they could not work it out. Pigeon Forge could not either. Why didn't Rankin schedule Oakland or Catholic? They obviously had games available. Guess the rebuilding Blackman team looked better. Yep sometimes you take it on the chin at the highest level. As opposed to having a stacked 6A roster in 3A

Games are decided at the Line and i’d Be shocked if Alcoa doesn’t have the edge on both sides. Above average depth for a 3A also. Too many variables; turnovers etc. for me to pick exact scores but i’d Say Alcoa by a minimum of 7-10 points.

Actually the Rockets had the Warriors on the ropes in the Semis and if Chris Paul had not missed game 7 who knows? I know the Durant thing ruffled feathers but you had Ray Allen and KG joining Paul Pierce in Boston, and then Lebron and Chris Bosh joined D Wade in Miami. I think some people fail to realize outside of Durant the Warriors drafted most of their roster and won a championship prior to Durant's arrival on the scene. Pretty sure Curry, Draymond Greene and Klay Thompson were drafted.

I darn near bought one until I noticed the older Mayes kid from Catholic on the cover and gave it a better look.

Went into the Pilot in Maryville Saturday and the lady told me she had had many inquiries but had been told it would be the end of August or early September before it is out, or at the half way point of the season practically this year. Ironically they had a stack of 20 or so from last year still in the rack, along with several Vol Football Previews with Butch Jones on the front.
