How did Blackman come out tonight against Franklin County? anything?

He will have a nice scholarship at the end of this year but it will not be because he's a great player. He's big, real big and colleges will take a chance on somebody that big. All he does is down block, every single play. Anybody familiar with the double wing like Coffee runs know they make a living off the down block and pulling both gaurds. Buck, trap, sally, and the double handoff. He couldn't operate in the spread.

He is a little more athletic than Gonzalez.

If you are good enough they will find you, it's that simple. Very seldom does a coach's promotion of an athlete, help anything. Another thing is exposure, in all due respect 1A football doesn't get alot of exposure so that doesn't help the borderline player. College football is a business and these coaches livelihood depends on the players they recruit. Don't think for a minute, they do not know where the players are and are not. Don't blame Coach Parker, there is not a finer person in high school athletics anywhere. If you really wanted more exposure you might have considered a bigger school and maybe even camps. Otherwise the weight is on your shoulders to make it happen. Success breeds jealousy...

I don't think Oakland has been defended man to man like they will be Tuesday. I saw Shelbyville play Riverdale and had a friend at the Blackman region game and from everything I have heard and witnessed Shelbyville is going to defend Oakland like nobody has in 7AAA all year. I really think it will be a barn burner.

Shelbyville will be back soon... I am telling you the new coach can get it done and some young talent awaits him. It won't be long beore they are back atop 8AAA.

Definately think Shelbyville should be apart of the top ten. Beat Blackman and Columbia the last two wins. Blackman beat Riverdale.

There are a few situations in that area like this. Not only Tullahoma but Shelbyville has also expressed interest in playing 5A football. I do not expect them to be down for long they will be back. Metro needs to stay metro and they will agree to that. Nobody from Metro wants to go to Bedford, Coffee, Hickman counties to play football. This is obvious from the attendance of these teams at away games. It would be a much better situation for all parties if you let metro play metro and if they need some teams they need to come from another metropolitan situation like Clarksville. All Tullahoma and Shelbyville want is there old region back and I see no reason notto gie it to them.
