Congratulations to DB, i have to say i had my doubts about beating Oak Ridge and Jeff. Co. but they proved me wrong. They looked pretty good and it seems they do deserve their No. 1 ranking. Roll Tribe Roll!!!!!!!!!!

DB will probably start slow mainly because lack of experience and by the end of the season probably be pretty good. But they will not be better than last years team. DB has plenty of talent at the skill positions but the line is not as strong as it has been in the past. I think they will struggle in the opening game against North but win it 21-7 with both defenses scoring a TD. DB may not be as good this year as in the past but will still be too much for Sullivan North. I also do not think they will be able to beat Jeff. Co. this year. DB lost a lot of starters from last years team and Jeff returns a lot. I dont know about Jeff winning a state championship or anything but possibly the reigon 1 title. It will be interesting to see how things turn out. I wish DB the best of luck this season though. Roll Tribe!

hey Chantz, yeah we know who you are SHWR87. you are just jealous of us because we beat you all at home and ended your season. you just got beat by a better team. Williams is 10 times the wide receiver than you are too and he is only a sophmore. Mears is also much better than Kye Hamilton could ever dream of being. Mears knows how to win, something Kye couldn't do. Just remember before you start talking trash on here, Dobyns-Bennett is still playing. Science Hill is dribbling basketballs right now. Maybe thats why you all are so good at basketball because you all start so early every year.

Congratulations to MBA for making it to the State Championship game. It sounds like they have improved from week 0 when we played them and DB has also. That was an awesome game and I think it has helped both teams in the long run. It's just a shame that someone had to lose that one in triple OT because both teams deserved to win. Yes, actually in the 2000 playoff game between DB and Oak Ridge DB did catch Oak Ridge listening to DB coaches on the radio with a scanner.

What does everyone think about Dobyns-Bennett beating William Blount 48-0? It could have been a whole lot worse if the D-B coaches wanted. Also what does everyone think about next week's DB vs. Oak Ridge game? Both teams are 9-2. I think it sounds like its going to be a really good game. ROLL TRIBE!!!!!!!!!

No one should count DB out this year. They are a good team. They are 3-2 right now, but they have lost 2 close games to 2 good teams and without losing starters in both games probably would have won. In 1999 at this point Sevier Co. was 1-3 and they came back and won the State Championship. DB bounced back this week when no one thought they would and dominated Jefferson Co. So I dont want to hear that they dont have a chance this year.

Yeah Science Hill was cheering for MBA to beat DB because they know they can't do it themselves. Good Luck to MBA this year. That was a great game. Neither team deserved to lose one like that.

Both teams came out in the 3rd quarter with starters. They didnt go long but DB came out with a long drive and scored and got a fumble a play later and scored again to make it a 14 point game. Then the starters for both teams came out.

West looked good but so did Dobyns-Bennett. They played pretty even.

Dobyns-Bennett and Knox Halls scrimmaged tonight and DB looked very good again. I dont know what the score was but DB killed them. ROLL TRIBE!!!!!

DB scrimmages Halls friday and then Aug. 16 they scrimmage Maryville at Maryville.
