Mike is a great motivator, but not the best coach. He has had some great talent and athletes to play football over the past 14 years. I have respect for him but it is a proven fact that he chokes in the big games and when he had mediorce talent, they were only 2-8. I feel he had all the right ingriedents for a run at the state this year but he and his whole staff choked Friday night. They were outcoached in every aspect of the game. I thought the Landers would come out fired up after halftime, but they were not. They walked onto the field, heads hanging down, like they were beat. That should be the coaches job to make adjustments and prepare for the next 2 quarters. I personally don't think they did that. CAK's staff made the right changes and you see the outcome. I really feel bad for the players, but it was a great run.

Volfan Can't wait for you to come up tommorrow and see how overrated these Landers are. After they spank CAK's butt maybe they will spank yours and then you will know how overated they really are. Light schedule or not, the season is over so forget about who we played. Every team is 0-0. CHS has too much talent. They haven't really had a real test this year, so I think they will be ready to give out some punishment. All this crappy talk. I haven't posted in a while, but this is stupid. This is the year of Cloudland High. We will bring that gold ball home come December. No one and I mean no one will stand in our way for is rightfully ours. And I hope Boyd has to come to Roan Mtn. We will show them how to play mtn. football, just ask South Pitt how it feels to get a butt kicking and have to ride off that lowly mountain knowing that there season was over. I also hope that CHS continues to beat teams 79-0. I say if you have the stuff to flaunt then flaunt it. Lord knows we have had our share of being on the losing end. Go Killer Bees.

I hear there might be a new, smaller version "Voice of the Highlanders" at the game weather permitting. Scott and his wife are new proud parents of a baby boy, named Collin born on 9/16. Hopefully this will be his first Lander game. Go Landers!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
