Anyone seem this team play this year? Who is on their roster from what schools? Any info from anybody?

Kind of hard to win against anyone shooting 4 / 32 from the 3-point line. 32 3-pointers .... are you kidding me.....?

Dangerous game for Walker Valley. Barring a major letdown, they should win, but I've seen it before with teams after a big win, like over Westview. I'll say, Chester Co. stays close in the first half. Walker Valley gathers and refocuses itself and pulls away in 2nd half. Walker Valley by 10.

WOW....just read at Jacksonsun.com that the Head Coach from Westview said he made some adjustments at half and he decided to "SLOW IT DOWN" Slow down the run and gun, shake and bake, attack, attack, attack.....wonder why? Makes my earlier post seem right on the nose!!!! Westview got a nice team. #13 is a player. Nice game! P>S> oh yea....HEAVyd..."defense".....did you stop at TACO YET !!!!!

This is just to add to the discussion..... I just noticed after reading "ALL" the posts that there is a word missing that has not been mentioned once for Westview..... "DEFENSE"... So I was thinking, lets say, for discussion purposes, this run and gun, bake and shake, 5 in and 5 out, wide open attack, attack, attack, DON"T take Walker Valley out, and WV continues to stand tall and come back at you, ummmmm.....now what do you do.....IF......you can't stop them? Everybody knows WV can play defense, one of their strong pieces, and yes they will have to slow Westview down, not stop just slow down, but if they can do that.....ummmmmm

Great job Lady Mustangs! State Bound! Hume Fogg never gave up. #12 is a player. I thought a key moment in game was with 4 1/2 minutes left in 3rd quarter, Hume-Fogg had cut a 16 point WV halftime lead down to 5, Coach Tucker trusted his bench to give Parks and Burrell, who had been working so hard on defense, a break with Isom and Walker. You could see a change in tempo, the fresh legs and quickness affected Hume-Fogg and the lead grew back to 13 by the end of the period. Parks and Burrell re-entered at the start of the 4th, rested, and helped Mindy, Suzanne and Alyson close the deal. Nice job !!!! thumb thumb

When Cleveland lost to them in Georgia, they blew a big early lead. I don't see that happening again. Shelbyville is playing well but Powell and Cleveland will live to play another game, in the Murf'...... Cleveland in a close one .... !!!

This should be a fun game! Tyner has got some major quickness. WV will have to slow them down. WV bench will have to play well while the starters get a blow from the track meet. Tyner will have to play zone, no way they match up man-to-man. I don't think either team will be able to press the other and be very successful, a few turnovers here and there. Tyner's ballhandlers better get ready to see alot of the left side of the floor. Walker Valley pulls away in the second half. Region 3AA Champs!!!!

I think if Bradley can keep the score in the mid 50s, they can win. Don't think they can win if it gets in the 60s or 70s. Should be closer than last game, probably will be more like the first 2 games.

WV beat Grundy Co. by 38 in a Hall of fame game, which really doesn't mean alot now. It was the first game of the year. How much has both teams improved? It will be a "big" challenge for Grundy Co. to win, but its possible.

Tryouts for 14u, 15u, 16u are March 12 at 10am at Howard High School in Chattanooga Tennessee.
