  1. Amen to that. Go SC! I hope the 2nd round game will be in Dunlap.
  2. How bout even earlier than that? Derrick Crawley at QB throwing a TD on a waggle after an onside kick to beat Grundy County in 2001? Congrats to SC on their big win tonight to stay undefeated!
  3. Hide your children. SC wins 33-27. Boom!
  4. 27-26 Warren County. SC driving in WC territory. SC inside the 20
  5. PJP2 has a very talented team with depth. Good luck to both teams next week.
  6. Whoever is able to post regular updates please do. Thanks
  7. Thanks for the updates. Please keep them coming
  8. They mentioned the score on 1320am at the half of the CC at Oakland game. Tune in if you can. I'm pretty sure they will mention "The Battle of the Stump" again in the post game. I showed them a picture of the 2001 game with the trophy. Good luck SC hope yall can hold on to the lead.
  9. TMSAA has specific rules concerning middle school football. 1. If your team is not a member school then none of this matters. 2. If your team played 8 regular season games then they are only allowed 1 postseason game. 3. A sanctioned middle school team can at most play 9 games. 4. A sanctioned middle school team can only play one post season game. (Even if they only played 7 regular season games) 5. There are no state playoffs for sanctioned TMSAA schools. 6. Revert to #1. Eligibility rules for players such as transfers, age, grade repeaters and games played do not apply. So.... if your middle school team played more than 9 games and they are sanctioned then they are in violation. If they are not a member school then they could have 16 and 17 year olds out there playing. Either way there is no such thing as a TMSAA middle school state champ. You can call it what you want but its only on paper. Hope this helps. *Just checked. Crestview is indeed a member school. I hope this doesn't nullify any post season championship. Hopefully their record was at best 9-0 or they only played one game after the regular season.
  10. This has probably already been mentioned but is there a website that will have a live video feed from the game. If so can someone tell me what it is? Thanks.
  11. This probably has already been discussed but if Gordonsville wins will they play at home next week? Thanks
  12. Someone please tell me where i can get livestream audio of thia game. Im in Manchester and cant pick up the FM station. Thank you.
  13. On another note, Oak Ridge and Riverdale have played two common opponents. Cookeville and Farragut. Oak Ridge only beat Cookeville by 3 points and lost to Farragut. Riverdale beat Farragut at Farragut and handled Cookeville much easier than Oak Ridge did. Both teams have a great tradition but Im obviously picking Riverdale to beat Oak Ridge and Maryville to beat Bearden.
  14. Smyrna is my pick to make it to the finals on the other side of the bracket.
  15. My bad. I should have been more specific. It was another thread I started weeks ago. BTW, I am really excited about this possible matchup.
  16. Now that the services of the Dobbyns-Bennet fans are no longer needed, lets invite the Bearben fans into this thread. Will the inevitable matchup happen? or will there be an upset? I say as long as the sun comes up for the next two weeks Maryville will be playing at Riverdale for a spot in the championship.
