Rupert Murdoch says Obama will win
CoachT replied to ELA's topic in Politics, National Issues, & Controversy
And 84% of Democrats don't approve of Congress. (I'll let you have rights to the word hate) In January 2007, 35% of Americans approved of Congress. 13 months ago in USA Today: Overall approval for Congress is 40%. "The Democrats are back," Rep. Nancy Pelosi, the first woman speaker in history, had exulted on Jan. 3 as her party claimed control for the first time in more than a decade. -

ELA, you just don't understand! 84% of the country do not like the Democratic controlled Congress. And. they aren't running for President, either. And, if Obama is elected, I will support the man because of the office he holds and I respect the office. I will let liberals have the monopoly on hate. They have a lot of practice. -
Rupert Murdoch says Obama will win

Why is all of his information ridiculous and yet you will eat up any rumor about Bush that comes up? And, Bush is not running in 2008. Whatever happened to loyalty? Question: how many Muslim nations are there? -

You will listen to a 77-year-old but claim that a 71-year-old McCain is too old. Obama may well win. There is not a viable Republican candidate this time just as there weren't any viable Democratic candidates in 2000 or 2004. Democrats occasionally being in power is kinda like the economy- ever so often you have to let things bottom out so that you can rebuild bigger and better. Congress is doing its part with an 18% approval rating: "Congressional Approval Rating Ties All-Time Low." It will be interesting to see how the polls project the winner in those extra 7 states that only Obama knows about. -
Take care of yourself. Tennessee will be here when you get ready to come back.

Obama wants to be president of all 57 states
CoachT replied to CoachT's topic in Politics, National Issues, & Controversy
Could be worse. He could have put an e on potato. -
Moon pies.
-
Come on, ELA. If they pass a bill giving 55-year-old sports website guys free Moon Pies for life, I will be all for it, too. It would still be crap. There are other versions of the bill which the White House supports and would gladly pass as long as no one tags a bunch of extra crap to it. If Bush had proposed the Webb version you would be against it. You forgot to address how the 14 phantom senators from the 7 phantom Obama states would vote.
-
Would you vote for this bill? How are the extra 14 senators from Obama's 57 states vointg?

Obama wants to be president of all 57 states
CoachT replied to CoachT's topic in Politics, National Issues, & Controversy
No one has mentioned the really scary part of this. Everyone knows we have 50 states except Obama. Anyone want to guess how many Muslim countries there are? That's right. 57. -
The schools are the TSSAA. The schools' representatives set the classifications, playoffs, gate prices, parking...everything. If schools aren't being represented correctly then they need to elect a new Board of Control member. Also, schools are going to have to work out ways to cut costs. Doubleheaders with district (and non-district) teams- your place this year, my place next year and count both games as that year's district games. Then you only have to travel to half of the schools instead of all of them. Schedule a baseball DH at 4PM and a softball DH at 5PM. You can then travel together. I know that is not ideal but some trips are 150 miles round trip. If you can eliminate 4 or 5 of those trips each season then you save a ton on gas.

Newsweek Poll, Racism, Obama
CoachT replied to ELA's topic in Politics, National Issues, & Controversy
Let's see: I am proud to be a christian, an American, a husband, a father, and white. Am I therefore a hater of Islam? and a hater of non-Americans? and a hater of gays? and a hater of single folks? and a racist? I would say with 100% certainty that 100% of the people polled by Newsweek are dreading seeing this kind of poll every month for the next four or 8 years. If he loses will Michelle no longer be proud to be American which she has been for several months now? She was just getting the hang of it. -
Obama wants to be president of all 57 states
CoachT replied to CoachT's topic in Politics, National Issues, & Controversy
Quayle put an E on potato and you would have thought he didn't even know the alphabet or how to count to 20 or the number of states by the time the media, Letterman, or Leno finished with him. -
I have to defend Hillary on this one. I knew what she meant as soon as she said it and ELA would agree with me, this time, except he has gone gaga for Obama and has lost any objectivity he has ever had when it comes to other candidates. If he can sugarcoat Reverend Wright then he certainly could spin this one, too, so I'll have to do it for him. Her reference was to the fact that she was staying in the race because it isn't even June. In referring to Kennedy's assassination she was indicating how early that was perceived to be in the 1968 race but is just the opposite in the 2008 race. To quote Wikipedia: "At the time of his death, Kennedy was significantly behind Vice President Hubert Humphrey in convention delegate support, but this has not deterred many from the belief that Kennedy would have ultimately secured the nomination following his victory in the California primary." That was what her statement was pertaining to. She does have to take some blame for that, though, because if she hadn't announced for the nomination two years ago the race wouldn't have seemed as endless as it has.

Congratulations!! Forrest wins it 5-4 and are the 2008 Class A State Champions.

I added a few of your games to our database just to make sure it was working correctly. I'll leave the rest for you to add so you can see how it works. Quite simple, actually. 2008 Schedules

You can now enter schedules and/or rosters. Do NOT enter any scrimmages or jamborees! We only want games that count in your school's record. Please follow the following directions closely: HOW TO ADD SCHEDULES To add a schedule, go to the Inside page for your team and click "Schedule/Results." There is a link on that page called "Add Games." This will launch a popup window with the "Adding Game" form. If you use a popup blocker, you will have to disable it temporarily to add games. IMPORTANT NOTES - The games you add will not appear on the website until they are previewed by site operators. - In order to save time, add only those games that do not already appear on the schedule. - Use the drop-down menu for all games against in-state opponents. If the school is in the list, do not type it in. - If the game is a district game, be sure to check the appropriate box. Finally: Until you're very familiar with the form, be sure to look over it before you submit it each time to avoid mistakes. Once you have finished adding the schedule, close the popup window. Your entry will appear on the website once CoachT validates your submission. HOW TO ADD ROSTERS To add a roster, go to the Inside page for your team and click "Roster." Add the players. You must include information in every field except weight. That is optional. To add schedules and rosters, find your school's team Inside CoachT. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Schedules, or partial schedules, that we currently have. When you make a mistake, and you will , then email me at [email protected] and include the link to the schedule or roster in the email. Including the link to something that needs editing saves me a tremendous amount of time over an entire season.
