Come on...A newspaper guy who is in Knoxville is going to get you stirred up. I am sure the Indians were going to play their best anyway. Are they going to give more than 100% Come on. This isn't middle school. "Oh now we really going to play hard...That newspaper guy gave us no respect." Coach Lambert is going to pull out everything anyway. Coach Brewster is going to have wrinkles anyway. Go Tigers!

I love the fact that some of you all are already talking about the Semi-finals. I am sure the winner of Oneida/Rockwood will have a lot to say about that. Not to mention, you still have to win this round before you go to the quarter-finals.

Somebody get a trash bag. Rockwood will get handled? "Rockwood won't present the Indians with a player they won't be able to handle physically"... I am pretty sure they'll have something to say about that tomorrow night, and I guarantee it won't be getting handled. Go Rockwood! Show them how we handle things down in Roane County.

At first, I thought Harriman would dominate, but looking at this match-up more closely, I have changed my mind. Copper Basin is a tough challenge. The teams seem pretty equal. Both teams have beaten some quality opponents. Harriman still has the edge, but only because of Home field advantage. I look forward to seeing the outcome. Two teams left in the county. You can tell their is a lot of respect between these two teams. No trash talk, nothing negative. This appears to be an extremely good match-up. Oneida has the advantage being at home. You seriously need to just say no. Of 5 pages of post, only 1 sandman was talking anything about O.S. coming out on top and how players need to step up and play. You were the one saying Tellico's line was going to hammer on O.S. Get your facts straight. Also, Tellico has the resting players against teams.

What are you on? Tellico is favored by everyone. What warning are you talking about? The posts say O.S. basically has no line, and their backs are weak compared to Tellico, and O.S. coaches couldn't hold the yard markers at Tellico. Tellico seems pretty confident resting players against teams. I wonder if they will do that this week, so they can be ready to play Hampton.

I would say Oliver Springs line has been challenged. I would say the coaching staff has been challenged. Tellico Plains people point blank said they are better than you in every way, better lines, better backs, better coaches, better fans, better girls basketball coach, better everything. They are just better! I pushed the better part a little far, but you can tell they think that they are going to run over O.S. Good Luck to both teams.

There is a reason you are a new guy. If you think Rockwood is just going to show up and win, you are kidding yourself. Rockwood is a good team, but they must play together to be good. They are not going to out athlete anyone. Ask Grace and Tellico Plains. Rockwood shouldn't even be thinking about anything but Unaka. Good luck to both teams and have a safe trip down Unaka people.

It is really quite simple. Tellico has 3 losses. 1 came to Harriman, by the way, Rockwood beat Harriman 35-7. Rockwood has an 8-2 record. There was a three way tie in the district, each with 3-2 records. Rockwood pulls ahead. It is that simple! The quarter finals are a long way off. You got to get throught the first round first. Kingtson has an extremely tough match-up. You need to go into Polk with an attitude. You also need to remember that you play in one of the toughest districts in the state. You have arguably played the best team in the state (Alcoa). No doubt, you have an up hill climb, but all of Roane County is pushing for you! Good Luck!

Come on, you honestly thought after the past three seasons, that this was going to be your year? You were probably one calling for Coach Brackett to resign, after last year. No one in Roane County, except the team expected to be in the play-offs. They probably didn't know they could until the third or fourth game of the season. You are really showing how much you support O.S. by bashing O.S. teams, coaches, and the administration. Way to show your spirit! I am sorry your boy won't have one play-off game at home, because that is all it would be. If you win, you have to go to Hampton anyway, so quit whining about it all, and go support O.S. like you should. Oh, and by the way it is still football season! No one should be, or is jealous of the girls program! The best statement Coach Christopher and the Girls Basketball team could make is by showing up at the Tellico Plains game and supporting their fellow Bobcats.

This is probably the best and most even matchup of all the Roane County teams. Tellico Plains is definitely no push-over. Both teams better be ready to play! Tellico has the advantage being at home. I have heard that all their loses have been on the road, but maybe I am wrong. I have also heard the food is awesome there. O.S. has got to play their best football! Good Luck! Win for Roane County!

Rockwood did a great job against Harriman Friday night. I know nothing about Unaka, but Rockwood better not underestimate anyone. Harriman beat Tellico, so my guess is that Rockwood underestimated Tellico and got beat. Unaka, I am sure, will be ready to play. I know that if Rockwood plays like they have been, Rockwood should come out the winner. Good luck! All of Roane County is rooting for you!

You all sound like a bunch of whiny babies. Quit making this a basketball vs. football thing. If anything it was a mistake, learn from it and move on. Instead of being happy with the success, and rallying around your football team, you want to cry about something you have no control over. If anything, you should be mad at T$$AA. 1000 seats = money for them. T$$AA takes a cut of all play-off games. The only money you have lost is the concession money. The girls b-ball coach is a good coach, and everyone loved her last year. No one needs to be calling for jobs. That is ludicrous! No one expected the football team to do as well as they have, including all of you that are whining around. O.S. is in the playoffs after 3 years of disappointment and tough times. Be proud of the accomplishments that have been made. Drive your whiny tails down to Tellico Plains and support your team. I know that everyone in Roane County will be rooting for O.S. on Friday.

How bad to Tellico beat Rockwood? I know what the score was, but how bad was it really?

Last years team isn't half as good as this years team. They will prove it Tomorrow night! Rams big time over Tigers!

Team A beat team B and team B beat team C doesn't mean team A will beat team C....Grace could be favored and well could win....but look for a battle in this one I heard that Tellico turned the ball over many times during the game against Rockwood. The score probably should have been 48-6. Grace wins easy.

Without a doubt Grace is the favorite. The preseason picks have nothing to do with what has happened. Rockwood got beat 21-6 by Tellico and Tellico got beat 24-7 by Grace. Both games were played at Tellico. You do the math. Grace by atleast 4 touchdowns.

How is Spring Practice going?

Rockwood is in a 2AA with Alcoa.

Bryant Allen of Rockwood has had 120 stops every year for the past 3 years.

I think that Livingston will beat Kingston. Kingston didn't step up until the 3rd quarter against Harriman and if they bring that type of game on Friday, then it could get ugly...FAST!!

Rockwood will dominate Harriman at their place on Tuesday!! I have a feeling that Sierra Skidmore will NOT let ANYTHING by her!! I'm sure that Jennifer Hill and Lacey Smith will rack up the points!! TOTAL DOMINATION!!
