After seeing Wayne Co going 5-0 off the bat i have to say they are the favorites this year. Beating the #6 team in AAA Clarksville NE i don't think they will play anyone in single A with two D-1 players. They are tall and athletic if you shut Bryant down you have to try to stop Nutt, Doyle, Ruddle, Hammock, and Beckham. And for greenallover#4 your comments make no sense at all any person in their right mind would leave cwood their horrible and Wayne Co is going to beat them as bad as they want Friday night.

You say stabbed in the back i say the right move at the right time. Collinwood program was a joke at the time with an idiot for a coach and a bunch of players that could care less. Bryant went to Wayne County and won a district championship and will be 1st or 2nd this year with collinwood still in the basement. He has a chance to play college ball so it will look better coming from a winning program rather than a losing program.

I saw Wayne Co play once this summer they looked pretty solid minus the fact they only play 7 players. Bryant and Nutt will carry this team. Bryant will be there go to guy he needs to score 20 or 25 points a night for them to win. Nutt will have to be a scoring threat too.

this year i would watch for a few key players: 1. Jamarcus Webster- strong and very athletic post player can jump out of the gym i dont see many people holding him under 20 ppg 2. Justin Bryant- great shooter can pull up from anywhere look for him to score more this year with him getting more shots a game its between him and webster on mvp. 3. Matt Marrs- good shooter with a quick first step

I don't know much about CPA I hear that House and Sikes are pretty good players. Wayne Co is a good ball team with a big bench playing 9 or 10 players every game their two best players are probably Bryant 6'5 SG and Byrd 5'9 2G. I believe this game will be a good one probably going down to the wire.

I guess RealGoEagles must have been under a rock last season when both district 12A teams beat both region 5A teams in sub-state. My prediction is that Summertown will pull this one out by a few points.

I believe if Wayne Co comes out playing like they have in the past few games it will get ugly fast. If they come out flat and not playing hard Eagleville could make a game out of it. My prediction though is Wayne Co by 15.

I've heard talk about the player being ineligible and if its any possibility that Perry Co. can get around this they will try. I wonder if they will have to forfeit every game that Luis played in or will they just sit him out and continue into tournaments? Perry Co was starting to play good then something like this happens will really hurt.

Wayne Co has a solid team this year 5 good scorers on the court all the time can't leave Bryant or Byrd open at all because they can fill it up. They have York on the inside that plays well. I don't know how far they'll go in the tourney just have to wait and see.

I don't care if the coach at White Co. was Roy Williams. White Co doesn't have the players to win games right now. Maybee in the future they will be better but right now they just don't have it. I personally think Slatten is a great coach you can tell from the years at PC with or without Haston. He won big games and a great coach wins big games.

I believe the All Season team will go like this: 1. Brett Jackson- Perry 2. Louis Arryonne- Perry 3. Mars-Perry 4. York- Wayne 5. J.d. Byrd- wayne 6. Justin Bryant- Wayne 7. Ashton White- Summertown 8. Cody James- Summertown 9. Ryan Bumbas- Clifton 10. Nick Prater- Clifton 11. Dee Webster- Mt. Pleasant 12. Jamarcus Webster- Mt. Pleasant 13. Camron Simms- Santa Fe -- The MVP should be given to the player on the team that finishes 1st. ---Mt. Pleasant--Jamarcus Webster (Great post player very strong) ---Wayne Co-- Justin Bryant (Great shot, if he gets open he can knock it down) ---Summertown--Ashton White (Quick off the dribble good shot) ---Perry Co-- Brett Jackson (shoot from anywhere Great Shooter)

If Collinwood can't win Mr. Luker is going to try to take someone down with him, and is trying that right now with Wayne Co. Collinwood couldn't beat Ezell in football so accuse them of recuiting can't beat Wayne Co accuse them of recuiting. I don't know much about it but what i hear he is wasting his time.

I am picking it to be a close game WC winning by 5 but look for Santa Fe to play hard especially it being at Santa Fe.

Brandon Wright is one of the best players in the state. Not just Sophmores.

All i know about Bryant is he is a solid player that can put up 20 points on a team when he wishes last year against us he had 24 like it was nothing. I don't know how he is like in practice but i do know he can shoot the lights out and looked like he really wanted to win every game. And also if bleak1 is one of the 3 football players collinwood had last year they don't need to say a word because they were absolutly horrible all three combined didn't avg. 10 points against us. I wish Bryant the best of luck.

This will be a great game to watch just to see the reception Bryant gets from the collinwood fans. Wayne Co will probably win this one by a landslide but you never can tell if calton and robbins are hitting it could be close. Look for collinwood to put 2 or 3 guys on Bryant just to shut him down. I think the role players for both teams can be big, for Wayne Co- Mosely, Doyle, and Hammonds. Collinwood- The yonger Calton, Case, Dixon. But my prediction is W.C.H.S by 25.

I just got done watching game film on the summertown richland game and Ashton White is a player although going like 2 for 12 in the first half ending up with 24 pts. though he got hot in the second half he is a good shooter and better driver he really knows how to play. Richland looked down and didn't have anything for summertown.

Justin Bryant is a solid player averaging 20 pts. a game last season. With a great shot he needs to work on his quickness getting open without the ball. He's got the body to play college ball and no doubt probably the best player in district 12a.

Wayne Co will have to play tough to win this game lewis co is by far the best team on wayne co's schedule except maybe for west memphis. They will have to contain Sparkman and the three point shooting from lewis co's gaurds but i think it will be a very close game. Wayne Co will improve tremendously throughout the year with players playing diffrent positions and limited practices in the preseason due to football They will only get better as the season continues.

this district is going to have 3 really good teams and 2 or 3 average teams. 1. Wayne Co- going to be really tough this year with nutt, bryant, byrd, york. 2. Perry Co- will be quick and the new addition to the team the post player 3. Summertown- James and White are good players and will carry this team. 4. Mt. Plesant- real athletic team with the twins and jamarcus. 5. collinwood- the loss of Bryant will hurt them a lot but Calton will do ok can't wait to watch the W.C vs. C-wood game 6. Santa fe- lost a lot of seniors but will improve as the season goes on. the rest is up for grabs in the district can't wait till it starts.

Anyway, back to the original subject. I wouldn't want to play Collinwood first round just because of the fact you never know how their going to play, it being the district their going to bring everything. They have everything it takes to be a good team they have one of the best shooters in the district in Justin Bryant averaging 21 pts. a game and a good post in Jerrod Calton averaging 17 pts. a game. WOW, what a game right when you thought collinwood had been beaten Justin Bryant comes down and nails a three pointer to narrow the lead to one point. Waynesboro played a great game especially down the strecth. Lance Nutt had a couple of drives into the middle that hurt collinwood. Justin Bryant was really playing well he probably ended up with 40 pts. and Jerrod Calton played tough down low even though his shots weren't fallen. Great game to both teams. The key to collinwood has to be their bench players because regardless, 95% of the time Justin Bryant is going to score 20 pts. and Jerrod Calton will score 15 pts. but if the players off the bench play well and doesn't hurt them than this will be a close one. Waynesboro has some good guards and Tyler York is playing well lately so it just depends on which team is ready to play.

i talked with justin a long time the other day and he told me that if there wasn't a huge turn around at collinwood next year he will be thinking about moving in with his brother that lives in waynesboro and attend waynesboro school for his junior and senior years. i really hope that he doesn't but you can't really blame him, collinwood is going to be weak his senior year.
