Let's get back on topic. I have heard numerous reports that the 4 horseman are planning on resigning at there athletic banquet. Rumors are the Horsemen plan on adding an additional member ( H.Spears) and taking there show up the road to a struggling Columbia Central. So I guess the big question is...is there any truth to these rumors. Will the 4 Horsemen become the Fab Five.

I don't actually remember the first meeting being a blowout. However injured or not Devin is not,nor will be a deciding factor in any game. Wayne Co. has played great ball of late and I look for that to continue tonight. However LC is one of the hottest teams in AA right now. Wayne- 58 Lewis - 64

I agree WOODROW, Lewis Co. has the tendency to drop the up and coming teams such as Perry Co. There is no doubt in my mind PC could soundly defeat LC at either stadium. Sure they are 7-0 but who can't beat Hickman,Giles or Wayne Co. I believe LC will be eliminated in round one of the playoffs due to playing weaker teams all saeson and not playing the stronger teams like PC and Mt.Pleasant.

Friday's game will indeed be exciting, however I am agreeing with Titan, the Bobcats are to fast and are very dedicated to this years season. I hear LC is having trouble with there O line, but have added a Mexican kicker who is money from 0-49yds. Good luck to both teams... Lewis-12( 4 field goals)........ Giles-28.

This is the craziest thread I've ever read!! You've got a "supposedly coach" who is arguing on Coacht, acting like a high school kid himself, disgracing PC's program. You've got three ex-players who can't get off each other and one ex-player(vikinTE) who is correct about 95% of the things he is saying. And all of this from PC winning two football games, I'm gonna hate to see it if they win another one.

If this announcer is so good, why would they fire him for something like that. Does anyone know the contact number to Mt.Pleasant radio so I can request an old game that Marty called?

I finally had a chance to read this thread, and It brings me great displeasure to see an ex-football player, possibly waterboy(vikin te) trying to run down a successful Perry Co. football program. It is obvious he hasn't been to the two games this year where PC has played with more heart and discpline than any PC team in the past. I believe DonHaney stated it best when talking about the scheduling. I predict PC to finish the year with only 2 losses, and I wish them the best of luck!! To players and coaches......Ignore all the jealous ex-students(I want even refer to them as ex-players because they are an embarrassment to the program.

It's football time again in Lewis County as the Panthers open up the season this Friday night against Wayne Co. This one will get ugly fast, LC has the better D,O line and a far superior quaterback in David Sharp. Also the Panthers coaching staff has brought back the Legendary Coach Pack.(Who has a career record at LC of (34-0). So watch out Wildcats, the Panthers are on the prowl. LC- 42 WC-12

Great question Historian, they can't say it dosen't fit thread topic. All of these legends once were high school superstars for there respective teams, and we all wanna know what they are up to now. It's terrible to see this site crash because of greed and jealous moderators. But like Historian....I'd rather find another website and get my threads treated fairly....so long coacht.

This could possibly be the biggest game in the state tonight. Lewis(21-8) vs Giles(22-1). I believe Lewis will win by 8 after a huge LC crowd takes Giles out of the game.Good luck to both teams.

I think these post are outragously funny, but I find it even more funny that the lit'l mexican thinks they could beat a team that consists of: Trav, Kelt, Kelt, Rodgers, Cox, and Lawson. So all you Perry Co. crybabies are whining about us being AA. Do you not think the "supposedly" #1 team in A should be an average AA team. This years Perry Co. team is a joke with poor fans and players. The year of 96' never cried about who they played, they just won games!!!This team couldn't hold there jock straps!!!!!!

Talent only gets you so far! Yeah sure Giles Co. has drilled some of these small AA schools but talk of a state championship is very premature. They LACK discipline, desire, and coaching. All this talk of Tyler Smith got me so fired up I had to go watch this "Air Apparent" play. I left with disappointment and disgust. I'll give it to him, he can jump...but that's as far as it goes. He has no outside shot and plays Terrible D! He loafs up and down the floor and cares more about how he looks than how he plays. He did face a little competition against Columbia Central(not much though), so how many did he score that game???? Point made! So to all who reads don't get to excited before you see this kid or Giles Co. play for you will be highly disappointed. Good Points Also Mr.Pleaz!

I have heard from several sources in the Maury Co. area that Coach Bassham and Coach Rice are indeed two of the front runners for the position. And I have no doubt either could get the job done at Mt.Pleasant. However, another name mentioned has caused me to raise an eyebrow. Trent Hill from Lewis Co. He was once a standout athlete at CA and I believe his youth and passion for the game would be a plus for the Tigers. There needs to be many changes at Mt.Pleasant, and I believe with any of the three above they would be well on there way.

I've went against Lewis County and Lipscomb all year so I'll change directions now and say....in AA Lipscomb vs Lewis County

I've kept an eye on LC all year and I believe there playoff run will continue after this week. LC has won 6 in a row and show no signs of slowing down for lowly Parsons. Look for LC to win big in a rain storm 35-12.

I have heard from a close source in Mt.Pleasant that coach Dugger has indeed announced he will resign at seasons end. Reasons for his departure from the team are unknown at this time, though he is said to be upset at recent rumors criticizing his coaching ability. Several names have been tossed around by Principal Wollaver as his successor. Among the names mentioned are Andre Baker, Milton Knowles, Randy McNeese and front-runner Mike "Bud" West. Sources say there is a problem with hiring outside the Maury Co. school system, so they are looking at people inside the system.
