Great win for the Cats. Tough loss for the Tigers. Both teams fought hard. The refs were awful for both teams on about 5 or 6 calls. Just my 2 cents Macon CO Your band showed plenty of Pride tonight Your team left it on the field Your coaches seemed to be doing all they could do. Winning does cure a lot Attitude and Heart cures even more Get with them or get away from them I enjoyed watching you school tonight Again this is not to offend anyone and only my opinion Those players and coaches and band members and cheerleaders represented Your school extremely well. That is really all you can ask isn't it? I know Macon has had several good coaches Most of them didn??™t want the pressure and moved on You seem to have a good group now Good luck with your problems and I hope they all work themselves out. Let the teachers teach. The players play. The coaches??™ coach and the fans be fans Not sports experts I know Greenbrier has their share of problems and it applies to them. But I just said well all night to include all touching of the football. I will give credit to the McMinn Central, Central of McMinn, Central High Defense. You don??™t have to tell me where the refs are from. I simply stated the ref was in his pocket all night. That means flag happy. Of all the flags thrown he probably threw 90%. He was the one on the McMinn Sideline. Get out of the Hotdog line and watch the game 5yds- off sides 15 yds-questionable late hit on sidelines (that's the sideline McMinn Central, Central of McMinn, Central High sideline) The whistle was late also. Maybe we should throw the Gatorade on the ref when that happens. Offensive facemask ???? that was declined because of fumble. 10 for block in the back 15 offsetting yards on the call at the end of the game Other than two drives that McMinn Central, Central of McMinn, Central High scored on the Bobcats, Greenbrier controlled the field position all night. IMHO I don't have to admit anything. I knew Central was a good football team. They won thier region. they had won 9 straight. Now you admit that a Number 4 team from Region 4 beat your Number 1 region 3 team, period. No excuses. no what ifs. no our player is hurt. We lost players in the game last night too. Great Football Game. Both teams played with lots of heart. I can't understand how a fan could say thier team played poorly and the other team won. That would be like me saying someone has no brain and type poorly. Both teams layed it out and both teams made mistakes. Both teams made great plays. Greenbrier moved the ball well all night. Without some great plays by the McMinn defense the score would have been worse. Oh there was the touchdown that got called back. (My apologies to the McMinn fans) not trying to put you down but the ref blew that one. That ref was in the back pocket all night. You know the one...He was on the McMinn sideline. The first called back touch down. Ask the McMinn player that tripped over a fallen Greenbrier Player if he was blocked in the back. That was sorry but I think we expexted it. McMinn Central has a very good football team. Look at the record. They should be even better next year as long as they don't listen or read to what is said on these boards. They only lose 5 players. Region 3, 3a has one big problem to overcome and that is the level of play in region 4, 3a. Right now it is just a touch above what they face week in and week out. (I will be blasted on that one.) McMinn has a good QB......We have faced as good as or better.......Pearl Cohn......Station Camp.....White House...Sycamore...Macon....DeKalb McMinn has a big line......We have faced as good as better??¦see list above McMinn was on a mission.....So is everybody else. To get on here and downgrade a team about how they played or how a young player may have acted toward a parent after a game is ridiculous. I guess that is how two previous threads got closed. Greenbrier fans you know better don't stoop to that level. The flag at the end I will not comment on other than to say I am sorry that it will affect both players later on. That was sorry officiating. Please keep it clean and to the point. GREAT GAME.

The calls where like they always have been. They go both ways at most games. The old man rearing the white hat (xxxxx) needs to retire. He may be waiting for his grandson, who goes to White House, to graduate. The Judge from Murray County who worked the White House sideline and called the catch by the punt returner out of bounds…We will say he just blew it…. It Happens. Gosh it looks so much more obvious when it is on TV and replayed over and over. Most Greenbrier fans didn’t realize he blew the call until our phones started ringing. Those refs were not used to TV games and nice camera angles. I wonder at what point he realized he blew that call. Did he know it when he blew the whistle or when he got home and watched the replay. Did you see the look that the returner gave the offical...like are you crazy. He might have realized it latter in the game when he marked the out of bonds punt on the sidelines with Mr. White Hat. That ball didn’t make it to the 15 yard line where it landed outside the fence. Most High School coaches know what to expect and not expect when you play at White House. From the crowd…great support for their team. From the team… A good hard fought game. From the officials…many no calls and a lot of blown calls so don’t expect much. Most teams also knows that you better be 2 touchdowns better than White House when you go there to play them. Rumours have had it that some of the refs are even on the mailing list for White House Boosters. Pxxxx…Mxxxx...Cxxxx It was a Great High School Football game that a lot of people got to see. Maybe someone with TSSAA retirement committee watched it also. I loved the holding call. "HOLDING.....(pause, breath, pause, wake up)...against the White Team" NOTE===This is in no way meant to take away anything from the Excellent White House team or their fans. I enjoyed watching your players fight, scrape, and play hard. Thats what this is all about. Playing hard and excelling. NOTE 2===This is also not an excuse for not winning. White House won the ball game fair and square. I have no problem with that. NOTE 3===This is intended as a jab at a sorry bunch of blind officals. Took the names out for their safety

That is already drawn in the bracket...We would tavel if fortunate enough to play in the third round. By swapping regions we lost out on the every other year rotation. Last year we went to Jackson South Side as the odd numbered regions traveled and this year we would travel as an even numbered region. It does make my job easier to travel but I do like being at home...I don't mind the extra work. Go Bobcats

Bobcats defense played a great game tonight. Sycamore didn't have over 20 total yards....only two first downs

Would someone post the records of the years she has coached... The last 4 years has been a great ride for Greenbrier. I have really enjoyed it. Congrats to Coach Head and all the Greenbrier LadyCats who helped her in reaching this milestone..... GO CATS

Attention all Bobcat fans If you want to ride on a charter bus to Memphis you will need to be at the school tonight between 5:30 and 6:00. Come to the office entrance at the front of the school. There will be a basketball game tonight so use the office entrance to get to the signup table. The cost will be $15.00 per seat and checks should be made out to the Greenbrier Athletic Club. We are not playing at Halle stadium. We are Playinig at the Fairgrounds and we will try to put directions on this site. If you are interested in riding a fan bus stay posted to this site. I hope to know Monday morning how many busses we can get. I will let you know tommorrow on this site when, where and what time we will have the bus signup at if we are able to do this. I am not sure but this may help you. I found this on a websearch. Halle Stadium: Mt. Moriah at Mendenhall, Memphis, TN From Bolton, go south on Brunswick road to Highway 70. Turn west (right) on Hwy 70. Turn south (left) on Germantown Road and keep going past Wolfchase. Get onto I-40 west. Take the I-240 loop south towards Memphis Intl Airport. Take the Mt. Moriah exit (exit 17) to the south. Halle stadium will be about 0.6 mile down on the left. Again this is not offical it is just what I found. The coaches will put out something to the parents probably. There is also another stadium that the high schools share.
