Gibbs stayed closed to Cocke County, somehow. Morristown-West gave the game away by missing a bunch of FT in the last minute. St. Francis is pretty good, but Crockett hung tough. Carter had Calloway County, KY beat, the Lakers hit a game tying basket in the last 5 seconds and pulled it out in OT. Great First Day!

Could be like our school where they LOOK for reasons to make the students sit down. They did the newspaper thing during the opponents line up saying "stink" after the name, the administration had the nerve to ask only a couple of what was about 100 students to come to the office for a STERN warning.

I've hear Knox. Fulton is on Alcoa's schedule next year.

If Maryville keeps up at the current rate it might be cheaper to buy digital Welcome signs to add years instead of buying the metal ones. thumb

Congrats. Technically I think Boyd Buchanan is in the East. TSSAA classifies them in the Eastern Grand Division. 3-1.

Disagree with KevB? NEVER. lol UC has a couple of good guards, and thats about it. After having a big first quarter we kinda got complacent and allowed them to keep it close. RHS should win by at least 10-15.

The final was by 7, scores can be misleading. It was 20-6 in the first quarter.

Hampton has a nice team very well coached and disciplined. Good luck on the rest of your season. Looks like we have Sullivan South tomorrow. Hopefully our young backcourt can step up until we are back at full-strength.

Are the games at Crockett? I think the game is at 4 today, someone can correct that. Should be an exciting start to the season, Carter hasn't started the regular season against someone outside of Knoxville in a while.
