Its time for the old Marion Co. fans to come out of wherever they have been hiding and support this years Warriors. You guys need to quit living in the past Coach Coliquette is gone and its time to get behind Coach Taylor. He has done a great job with the lack of numbers, speed, and talent he has been given. We may not win the state but the boys have the same amount if not more of the heart then those boys did. Please come out and support yours Warriors.

Once again the road to the 4A state championship runs through Maryville. It looks like Maryville has all the skills and talent to make another run at the title. To be the king in 4A you must shut down the rebels.

Watch out for the girls of Marion Co. They could sneak up on some people and surprise them. 1. Tyner 2. Bledsoe Co. 3. East Ridge 4. Marion Co. 5. Sequatchie Co. 6. Hixson 7. CSAS 8. Grundy Co. 9. Howard

They could be 3rd in their district but they will not be 1 or 2 because they would have to beat Howard or Tyner and I do not see that happening.

Marion Co. at Franklin Co. on the 18th and Marion's girls host GPS on the 20th

Eric Westmoreland from Marion Co. He played four years at Tennessee, was a member of the national championship team, and now plays in the NFL for Jacksonville

Marion Co. vs. Meigs Co. is also on the 30th

Hey how can you guys leave out South Pittsburg at Marion Co. This is Tennessee longest consecutive rivalry. Although it may seem like S.P. should win in a blow out, the game will be a whole lot closer then people think it will be. Remember anything can happen on any given Friday especially in a rivalry game. Go Marion Co. Warriors!

Congrats on being stupid like everybody else up there. We are Marion County High School not Jasper. So stop being ignorant little babies and start calling us by the right name we don't call you guys anything but Whitwell so how about that favor in return. Unless you were talking about Jasper, Alabama or Jasper, Georgia, or Jasper, Florida then they may have a Jasper High School but there isn't one in Tennessee. If you don't believe me then look it up. We didn't name the school we just go there like you go to Whitwell. It was the first school in the county so that's why it is Marion County. I think it is time to grow up and get over that stupid Whitwell mentality cause just for your information last time I checked whitwell wasn't the center of the universe.

Yeah Whitwell did slip up on us last week but that is different. A blind squirrel finds a nut evey now and then. Too bad it took thta stupid squirrel 16 years! Both teams are really equally matched and the game should come down to 2 things: coaching and who wants it more. One team comes out of this with some momentum and the other one's hole just keeps getting deeper. Marion by 6, Go Warriors!

I think that Vic Grider needs to get off this Barney bad a** cloud he is on and come back down to Earth. He is always jumping into things too much. Just like he did last year when he accused Marion Co. of spying on him. It wasn't the coaches fault he was given the ok and then things took a turn that he couldn't fix. Vic is just a hot head cry baby that always has to get his way. Its ok though because this year Vic and his bunch of Pirates have to make the 10 minute ride up the road to face the Marion Co. Warriors. Im know we will give him the treatment he really deserves.

You forgot to put Marion Co. on the list of vacancies. The job is open for the time being but the job should be filled with in the next couple weeks.

What about Al Raffo at Marion County, Greg Bartley at Sequatchie County and Melton at Grundy. I would definately add these three top coaches to the list.

The Hixson at Marion County game scheduled for Jan. 23th had been rescheduled for Jan. 30th and has been moved to Hixson. The Feb. 11th game againist the two has been moved to Marion County. The Marion Co. at Grundy Co. scheduled to be played on Jan. 17th has been rescheduled for Feb. 18th

I dont think Whitwell can handle CCS hgih powered offense, CCS by 20. Good luck to both teams

I believe that Marion County looked awfully impressive on Saturday while missing two starters. Their offense was clicking on all cylinders but they can play alot better defense. Their rebounding was also lack luster but come season time they will be hard to keep of the boards. The 6'8 guy from Walker Valley looked alright but John Watts from Marion County looked very good.

Marion County will be tough this year. David Phillips has a few tricks up his sleeve. He has a very strong core of upperclassman that will show great leadership. Watch out Marion County this year.

i think you forgot to put Marion County on that list. Marion has a very strong group of juniors and seniors coming back-10. Their pitching staff should be pretty solid from top to bottom. Their bats will be hot and their always a very good defensive team. They will be tough to put away, you may jump on them early but they are a late inning team. Look for Coach Raffo to go out on top this year!

All of you get wrapped up in all of these new complexes. How about an older one that is always in great shape. Marion County's complex is kinda old, but it is always looking because of the hard work put in by the players, coaches, and parents. It has by far the best playing field around. Gundy County also has a nice complex.
