  1. Wyane Co is a solid team and has a real chance of making some noise in Region 6-1A. Lewis Co is looking to make it Back-to-Back Region Championships. I think the game will be closer in the 1st half then what most fans think. However the 2nd half will loom greatly in favor of the Panthers. Far too much respcet for both teams to make a predictions, this one looks like it could be a nail biter or a woodshed game. Best of luck to both teams on Friday and rest of the season.
  2. I think Wayne Co, is much improved team this year, and should conted for a winning record this year. But Lewis Co. is coming off a 10-2 season while losing to 2A State-Runner Up's Goodpasture. I think Wayne Co comes to play in the 1st half keeping it close. But depth and experience allow for the Panthers to roll in the 2nd half. Look out for the Buck Sweep! Good Luck to both Teams, should be a good one early!
  3. It's Football Time at The Stable! Being an Alumnus I have to pick the Orange and Black, I want give a score because on any given Friday any thing can happen. Plus I have a lot of Respect for both the coaching staffs, you can't beat a Friday night in East Bedford when arch-rivals Moore Co. and Cascade square off on the gridiron. Good Luck to both teams !
  4. Thanks, I am glad to hear that the Head Coach is back. They do great job down there. Have a great day!
  5. TSSAA Bulletin Board (3/13/07) has a posting for the Perry Co. Head Football Opening. Just wondering? Thanks

    Blowout Rule?

Great post!! You read my mind.
  7. I must have looked at CoachT Scoreboard incorrectly I apoligize for the mess up. Good Luck Friday Night!
  8. Not so fast my friend.... Union City made it to the big game last year. McKenzie has one loss to Trenton-Peabody, 14-9, who plays in one of the toughest 2A regions in the state (Milian, Westview,) not to mention McKenzie did bet Huntingdon(2A) in Sept. Not to Mention Hollow Rock-Bruceton beat McEwen 45-21. Fayette Academy has one loss to DII-A Harding Academy So I think to call region 7 or 8 cream puffs may be a bit of an understatement. I will agree their is a drop off from the top tier to the bottom tier. But after all is said and done their one's and two's are as good as anybody's in the state. Good Luck this week!!
  9. Cascade Champions, named for the Tennessee Grand Walking Horse Champion,
  10. I think Cloudland nickname is the " Highlanders" that is pretty unique
  11. I agree when ever Hickman Co and Lewis Co. take to the gridiron to renew this rivalry it is always a great game. To say who would win to me is a tough one to call. Hickman Co.'s new coach, was at Hunington High School, in west tennessee. I believe when he was there Hunington won the DI-2A state championship. And Lewis Co. has a great coach in Coach Bobby Sharp who is well know through out the state with his contributions to Tennessee High School Football. I have personal tie to the LC. But I feel it will be a hard fought battle with Lewis Co. getting the revenge factor and taking the win in the score of 20-18. Regardless to who wins it will be a great game to watch.
  12. Peabody probably can't match up at the skill positions. A Peabody win is probably wishful thinking.
  13. Seen both teams play this season. Lewis County is peaking. 28-17 Lewis County prevails.
  14. Harris's Hooligans, that LaVergne quote was great ! ! !
  15. That was a little harsh, but I see where you're coming from.
  16. Community High School, Open up there 2005 gridiron schedule with cross county rivals Cascade (JV).... Community (JV) ... a great showing under first year coach Bart Fann... With the first half ending tide 6-6... and late in to the third and early fourth quater.. Community was leading 14-12.... though unfourantley youth and experiecne showed with the Vikings falling 26-14... to a solid, Cascade team... Best of luck to both Cascade (Alumni) and Community(Good Friend) There's nothing like football in Tennessee!!!
  17. Charka 20, I am a junior high coach for Cascade school. First off i want to apoligize for anything that might have been said. From what i hear it was a question about the rumor ( which it is totally a rumor. i think it was merely a question not a rumor. I hope this dose not cause you to any more anguish then already. Antino is a tremendous player with a bright future ahead. Look forward to seeing EH in the second round Best of Luck. mtsufan
