well smyrna held up there end last weekend by winning all three of there games fri. and sat. beating dickson co. 7-1 friday and tullahoma 3-2 and cookeville 12-11 on saturday but its just preseason everybody 0-0 till regular season starts so thats whats up is s-town

Coach Vetter is a great coach down at Smyrna!! He has all the great qualities that a coach could want and really interacts well with his players!

jenkins didnt do much at all he was all talk as expected.we ran some zone... so any halfway decent coach knows that the way to beat a zone is over the middle...so they threw some slants he had like a 35 yd catch on a slant,and was shut down except for about 1 decent run he went out every other play for cramps too someone tell the guy that he should eat more bananas instead of runnin his mouth

i have personally known coach wells for about 4 years now and i dont have a single bad thing to say about him.he's a good man and a good coach.i also had him as a weightlifting "teacher" lol during school this past year.he will be missed by everyone,however there will definately be an added drive to beat blackman now.at smyrna our we're gonna continue to do what we did before he left which is work hard and get better EVERY day.it was sad to hear that he left but we didnt miss a beat and we wont.this team has every intention of being the best,and we can only get better from here.

smyrna's varsity won 42-7,and smyrna's jv won 21-7,overall we had a pretty good performance but have plenty of room to improve.there are talks of maybe a purple and gold game at the end of our spring practice.only time will tell.

yall better not take seigle lightly cuz if they catch you slippin it could mean trouble TRUST US.we got lucky that we had the team that we did because honestly we didnt show up to play against them last year....having said all this i dont see seigle in the playoffs but they will turn heads.they should be strong in 2006 but 2005 still rebuilding.

i was just gonna tell yall that former smyrna standout luke powell was recently picked up as a free agent by the san diego chargers,anyone who remembers him knows he can play,and trust me the team might not have been there but the pac-10 knows he can too.look out 4 him if he gets a shot

for those of you doubting smyrna go right ahead,no one believed in us last year either.i can get on here and talk junk saying we're gonna kill every team we play and all that but the fact of the matter is that you have every reason to downplay us.we haven't proven anything yet and neither has anyone else,ill tell you this tho we are returning a lot of talent at key positions and things are gonna be a lot different from last year(especially at qb,oh yeh and yall can say what you want about wolke too but when it comes down to it he mustve had SOME talkent cuz ty willingham gave him a full ride ).anyways im just sayin that if you wanna doubt us go ahead but im around these guys everyday and we have as good a shot as anyone.so keep not believing,and if we by chance end up having an even better season than we did last year and you find yourself jumpin on the "smyrna bandwagon" again im not gonna say anything but this REMEMBER THIS POST.dang i know u guys smell that ....ahhhhh...spring practice 1 week away!
