Soddy and Greenville are playing pretty good basketball. Cleveland is mediocre, but Red Bank did not play that game like a regular game they were experimenting just like a scrimmage (it was a glorified scrimmage -- HOF game)

Red Bank doesn't have much of a post game but they don't rely to heavily on threes. They do run a lot and mix with that some half court stuff.

I agree, I think it is a good poll. Brainerd is pretty down this year (not taking anything away from McMinn Central just saying that that win might not be as impressive as it sounds). I do agree that McMinn Central should be number 1.

Of course you do. There are FAR, FAR, FAR, FAR more threads started by Grace and Temple folks to stroke their own teams than any other Chattanooga area school. Almost every thread remotley related to the chattanooga area becomes a Grace, Temple argument on who is better, who works harder, who is smarter, who goes to the bathroom the most, who has the biggest muscles, who got more girls' numbers, etc, etc, etc.........

CONGRATS to Red Bank on breaking the home winning streak. Red Bank does not count the Sequoyah win or the Cleveland loss (both Hall of Fame games) as part of their record. It is crazy but right now officially you can either count HOF games or not, it is up the schools. They played both of those games more like an exhibition game to where they were trying out new things and substituting whole groups and using different lineup combos. But, back to the point, big win at Bradley.

Ask every recruiting coordinator and head coach in those D-1A colleges.........and you will most likely hear that compared to other states the talent pool in Tennessee is very low. We just have to face that, I love Tennessee and high school sports in TN but i have taken off the blinders. I suggest others do as well. If TN recruited the majority of in-state kids then 5-6 would be considered a good and regular season for them instead of the aborration that last season was.

Inside Hamilton Co., Red Bank just might be the best team in Chattanooga. Sure it would be close and interesting if they played Grace and Temple. But I beleive they would be right there with those two and then there is a drop to the next grouping.

How can a game count for one team and not the other?????? That is absurd. One team can play it like a preseason game and play everybody, play different groupings, try various offensive and defensive sets, etc..... and the other team can play it like a regular season game. IMHO there is something drastically wrong with that.

That was a Hal of Fame Game and didn't count when Cleveland beat Red Bank.....it was played like that as well.......it was basically a glorified scrimmage. Did Cleveland lose the night after that in a hall of fame game as well?

The amount of "politics" at Bradley is amazing. It is unfortunate because they have the students, athletes, and resources to be very successful.

Cleveland didn't look very impressive in their Hall of Fame games.........I don't know how much Ooltewah lost from last year.........but it wouldn't surprise me to see Ooltewah win based on how Cleveland looked in their HOF games
