  1. Actually there are two rivers, The Harpeth River (located in Kingston Springs and the Cumberland River (located in Ashland City).
  2. Eventhough he is a blue devil I would love to block for him next year at APSU. It's a great school and I hope he takes a long look at our young team.
  3. Does harpeth have any size inside this year? if not stopping the Adams girl from cw might be a problem. She had a big game, 19 pts, against Springhill (who does have size on the inside), plus foul trouble kept Adams on the bench much of first half. Cw guards are playing well also. Hope this turns out to be a good game.
  4. Congrats on the award way to keep it in the midstate. Ladd carried a team with not that much talent up front all the way to the quaterfinals. Where is he planning on playing college ball, does he have any offers yet?
  5. Catfish, am I correct in thinking that Greenbrier can do no worse than a #2 seed after their win at Macon Co?
  6. Jo Byrns by as many as they want! Will Jo Byrns region match up with Trousdale Co.'s anytime early in the playoffs. If not this team has a chance to go really deep in the playoffs.
  7. i really need this information because i have a bet that i really need to win. haha
  8. Greenbrier's Devin Robertson
  9. Judging by both teams results against Sycamore I would have to say that Creekwood will take it easily. Good luck to both teams.
  10. Congrats to the Bobcats on a huge win last night. I'll admit I was worried with such a young team but you made us proud. I always respect DL because they play hard and are well coached but that doesn't mean I like them. You guys gave me something to give Harley a hard time about. Good luck to both teams the rest of the way.
  11. Sycamore and Station Camp will be a good game to watch and see how these teams will match up in the region. The game of the week though would have to be Page and David Lipscomb. We'll have to see how DL can rebound after being upset by Greenbrier and Page is coming off a very impressive win against White House. Next week should be very interesting.
  12. Greenbrier with an "e" scrimmaged Glencliff on Friday I didn't hear how well we did though
  13. The cats scrimmage Westmorland Friday, then I believe McGavok the next week and open up on week zero.
  14. August 5th Westmorland @ Greenbrier
  15. I'm a little biased but mine would be the 2003 Greenbrier-Sycamore 2nd round playoff game. Greenbrier was down by a TD in the first overtime and had a 4th and goal from the 10. We faked a waggle pass and ran a screen on the backside for a TD. We went on to win in the second OT. Both games between our teams that year were awesome.
  16. Wishful thinking machine, especially with Dekalb Co. Have they improved that field any, three years ago that was the worst field we ever played on.

    3A Champion

I believe Beech is still in 5A this season. I hope their defense is better considering over the last two years they gave up over 100 points to Greenbrier (48 & 52).
  18. Catfish this Greenbrier team may be young but they are far from being inexperienced in game situations. Over the last two years the cats have had so many wins by large margins that most of the guys coming up this fall have had game experience. This really showed up in the spring when the cats only lost by 1 to Portland who is one of the favorites in their new 4A region. Not to mention the fact that this team will have had nine extra weeks of practice under its belt over the last two years due to the cats deep playoff runs. We definately won't be as deep as past years especially on the O & D lines, but we'll have two exceptional running backs. I think the region will turn out the way the coaches picked it with a possible switch of Greenbrier and Pearl Cohn. thumb
  19. boxbrew Greenbrier doesn't need Herndon to smack you punks around. I wish we still played you guys, always an easy W! The cats will be in the playoffs for the 12th consecutive season and you're more than welcome to come watch.
  20. APSU will have scholarships in the 06 season and make a full return to the OVC in 07.
  21. Catfish you know I like you man but I don't see Sycamore getting by the cats this year. Granted we did lose a ton of seniors for the second year in a row but the good news is we have several great skill position guys in Justin Pigg, Ty Lynch, Kyle Herndon, and probably the most underrated is Troy Dill who is a hoss at fullback. Our young linemen are looking pretty strong this summer and if they come together in the fall I believe we could have two 1000 yard rushers like in the 2002 season. Just my opinion but I think Greenbrier finishes either second or third in the region. We don't miss the playoffs under Coach Williams and company. Anyway hope the summer going well cya and good luck to all 4-3A teams.
  22. I agree with tim, although I believe Giles Co. will be much improved with their new coach. They've had very good athletes the last few years and were huge up front but no one developed. Good luck to GC.
