  1. IMO = In My Opinion (you moron) Bill, 417 bermuda? WTH? When the mighty bobcats rolled into carter nation last season for our usual playoff tuneup, that field was a mess. It looked like the carter community had held it's weekly tractor pull in the middle of the football field. It looks to me as if the people in that community could care less about their football program and it's future. Then again, there has to be a vanderbilt in every league, doesn't there?
  2. I got 50 bucks that says my dad can outrun either of your dads.
  3. I've got a better idea. What about bulldozing the whole mess they have up there and building a new stadium? What they have now looks like a little league field. The whole place is crappy IMO.
  4. Sam Graddy and Leonard Scott were also the fastest guys around at one time.

    Jeff Co.

Guys, 2good wasn't referring to the state title in football. I believe he was talking about the strong tobacco spitting team they have this year in J.County.
  6. What's all this inuendo about rules being broken? Are you accusing my bobcats of doing something illegal? I piledrived the last guy who said such a thing. Are you next?
  7. Halls defensive coaches rule! I would put every cent I had on their staff taking on any staff in K-town in an arm-wrestling competition. Any takers?
  8. Man, the hornet supporters are out in force, aren't they? Sounds like you all have some pretty good skill players, but that doesn't necessarily equate into success on the field. If I was a fan, I'd be concerned about how my O-Line is going to stack up against the likes of Central's and Maryville's D-Line. I see Carter making the playoffs again, especially with weak teams again at West and Clinton and a question mark at Powell. However, I think they are still at least one and maybe two years away from making any noise. BTW, someone told me they totally screwed up the new stadium up there. What's the deal?
  9. Weed, I'm just quoting a source deep within the Halls program. I'm not sure what he meant by "weak", but I'm pretty sure he meant it in every sense of the word. At least Coach Shepherd will still have a "solid" offensive staff to pick up the slack.
  10. weed, that's a good point. Did Coach Black interview? He was part of the Powell staff during their glory days back in the mid 90's. If Julian gets the job, is that going to leave a void in the Halls defensive staff? I heard all the other defensive coaches on staff with him were pretty weak. Just wondering...
  11. I don't see the big deal here. I'm sure if one of the biggest supporters of his county commissioner campaigns happens to increase his contribution if his son becomes a starter on the football team that Coach will tell him to get lost. I just hope that whoever gets the job does away with the "dry-ice" entrance the team makes to the home games and quits playing "Rocky-Top" as if they are the freaking UT Vols. So what if Clark played there, does that really give them permission to copy RT as their official theme song? I'm tired of that crap.
  12. Hey, I've got a good idea! Why don't you Maryville apologists go start your own website and quit polluting CoachT with your useless history lessons on the 1970 football team. I swear, anyone who spends as much time as you all reminiscing need to get a life and move on. High school is over.
  13. Foley won't be playing this year due to an eligibility issue. Clinton will be hurting at QB. IMO, they're still a couple years away from competing in 3-4A.
  14. So does that mean he has is at Knox Central or not? My guess would be if you were kicked out of one Knox Co. school for fighting that you just couldn't go and enroll in another one.
  15. I thought Coach Black was at Fulton? Dilweed, you live in a state of confusion don't you? Speaking of alma maters, I heard things were looking up for the intramural teams over at my old alternative school.
  16. I will give a "stone-cold" lock to you concerning this years teams. Take it to the bank, or you can even put it in your pipe and smoke it. I could care less: 1. Central Bobcats will roll. Cassen Jackson will be the player of the year, and Helton will return to the promised land of high school football once more. 2. Halls will show the rest of the region that Halls does indeed have it. They've made the necessary personnel and player changes to return to dominance in 3-4A. From top to bottom, probably the best coaching staff in the greater Halls area. 3. Maryville will slide in a respectable third. GQ's staff has undergone some changes and they have several players that are inexperienced having to step into key slots this year. Several fans will jump off the top of the stadium after Maryville actually loses 3 games in one year. 4. Carter will return to the level of dominance that they enjoyed in the 50's. Woods and his possie will absolutely tear the roof off of it as they win 6 games for the first time in the modern era. 5. Who really cares about the rest? My guess - 5.Powell, 6.West, 7.Clinton Don't question it, just accept it.
  17. Murville and Cleveland will both be playing for second this year my friend. You had better look out for the might rebels at West high this year. Rumor has it they've got a transfer in from Texas who is THE real deal. Tennessee has already offered him, as well as several other SEC schools. He will make everyone forget the Winton kid real fast. Whenever he is running over you and stomping a mudhole in your db's, just remember I told you so.
  18. yeah, i think they need scrimmages too. It will probably another few years before they are competitive again in the football motherland of E. Tennessee. People in Jeff. Co. are funny. They had a pretty competitive team for a few years back in the 80's and now they think they're as good as my boys at Central. If they had any nads about them they would get out of the wuss region they're in and compete with the real teams in Knoxville and quit dodging them.
  19. I hope they cover the field a little better than those guys did last year. I'd say one more year like that one and GQ is gonna be on the hot seat. There is no room for complacency. Like Coach always said, "You'd better get better or I'm going to lose my d#$% job!"
  20. Pretty good rankings there AAAAFan. I think you may have Clinton a little high though. Word is that they're still at least a year away from competing for one of the coveted top 4 positions in 3-4A. Also, with the coaching change at Powell, I think Halls is probably a better bet this year. By the way, don't be slamming my boyzzzz from Cocke Co. I have a couple of buddies up there in the greater Newport area who are reknown for hunting naysayers down at local gas stations and stomping a mudhole in them. Don't be there next casualty.
  21. Morgan, are you really Brent Hubbs in disguise?
  22. Things have a way of catching up to you eventually. My guess-- Next year will be his last. Duncan will not tolerate any lack of class whatsoever.
  23. That explains that part of the video where the 2 guys are making out.
  24. Guys, I understand how it feels. Back when I was a wee-little goat, the nanny goat would try to show me the light and lead me in the right directions, but I was young and foolish. There was truth in her rhetorical banter but I couldn't see it for the anger. For you see, the anger and hate was cloudin my eyes. Oh, the truth shall set you free boys. I just bring the message regardless of who I, or anyone else for that matter, support. Yes, the teams south of knoxville have reigned for a time and occasionally their points on here make sense. But, the tides are turning fast my friend. One final thought: What are you going to do when the Bobcats run wild all over you?
